if you want a fun late night spot in surat this is where to go. lately the girls dancing on stage turned a little more raunchy than it used to be but if you're drinking it can still be kinda fun. there is also hookah there. sometimes it can be known by Thai people to be slightly dangerous. just don't drunkenly pass someone off and you'll be fine
If your looking for a crazy wild night out in Surat then look no further. Hang out with the local Thais smoke Chadha pipe. Crazy dancing. The Thai people are so friendly and chilled. Always polite. Always welcoming. The music is sick. Highly recommended ,check out LIZM as well. Aircon night club again crazy night to be had.
Our visit was much more than spectacular starting off with realization of us being the only customers at the time. Staff came to ask us what we would like to eat with really bad english and we ordered food. Even tough we were alone the good making took almost 40minutes. Okay? Maybe just go along with that? Sure we started eating and then it hit me on the first bite. Bones... First... Second... Third bite all of them had bones so.. i am guy with forgiving attitude with a lot of patience. Didnt still say a word but after that i also found hair from the food and started to look more closely about it.. There was another piece of meat which was much more darker than chicken and made me realize that it must be something else than the food that i ordered. I also ripped a part from chicken and saw that it was dark inside apart from not having that tender look that properly cooked chicken should have. OMG!
This was the point where i could not take it anymore. I went to counter to find anyone in that restaurant that could speak english and i was not pleased to find out that there was only one who could...
The god damn cook with long dark rocker hair asian guy and really bad attitude. At this point the staff ( dancing girls ) started filming us and taking pictures which was more humiliating and right thing to do as any staff would do right? I told the guy that the food was bad and i am not supposed to pay for that. Because it had hair, it was raw and that meat probably was something else than chicken. So he started yelling to me that everybody makes food like this in Thailand if you dont like it you still have to pay. So i look at the receipt there was 280baht and said no way i am going to pay for food thats done like this. Who in world would do such a thing? So he stormed off and the manager/owner comes to me with absolutely no english skills talking to me something that i have no idea. I show him raw chicken, different meat and a hair on food. And he nods to me? Like everything is okay? He leaves and talks to his cook fellow and he comes back to me with one of his staff girl who was holding receipt with flashlight showing 360 instead of 280? So i ask what is this ? Price is going up? For what? He told me that one small bottle of water was 40baht and for ice 40baht! We didnt even ask for that?
So.. after all this said and done i told him that no human would ever eat that kind of food because it was not done right. He started to threaten me with getting in touch with police and wawing his phone rudely on my face.
The matter of fact still is that if you are a tourist on a foreign country and you would happen to be on similar situation as this then you would know that no matter how things would continue from this point it was going to be paid by your pocket more or less.
So i paid and left before i could find myself in prison or robbed.
Long story short: Meat was not done right and also was probably made out of something else than it should have. Language barrier. Really bad attitude and rude staff making you feel really uncomfortable. Overpricing and hair on food.
Would avoid at all cost.
