I recently visited the newest 소공동 Tofu House on Lawrenceville Suwanee Rd. It's the largest one I've been to, even compared to the one in Chicago. The restaurant features separate cozy rooms for larger groups. Although the menu is consistent, the Tofu I had for dinner wasn't the best, and the hot pot rice was overcooked. So delicious! Mackerel is my favorite! along with Sundubu Jjigae with beef or kimchi is a must. So Gong Dong Tofu & BBQ is one of my favorite restaurants. Very clean, service is wonderful, and coming from an Asian household...they make sure you're truly fed. 😊 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is AMAZING!! Probably the best beef short ribs I’ve ever had. The Bulgogi was pretty good too. The service is great as well. The server actually took the time to explain to us how to eat certain items the traditional way which is was really nice!! Every time I come here….I’m always pleased with the great taste & service. I came here already three times since it has been open ….and even on Christmas day (honestly so amazed at the staff to work so hard on Christmas) 😍 The workers are very friendly and love how they greet the customers. Super great to come with a huge group. I always get the oyster tofu soup or gopchang tofu soup: both were very delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND: THE SEAFOOD PANCAKE 🥰The best part of this place is the atmosphere. It is bright and very warm. I always feel like I left full, happy, and comfortable. I have to say this is the best location of all the branches I’ve been too. My family loves coming here and also doing take out. The take out service is fast and efficient + there is always someone who is willing to help me take it to my car! This place is so clean and so beautifully designed! Love the traditional korean touches❣️ The food is always so good!! I always get the roe soup or the seafood knife cut noodles! If you've never had korean seafood pancake, this place does it the best - the crisp, the flavor, the assortment of seafood!! This is a must!!! I went for dinner and the restaurant was very clean and spacious. And the lighting was extremely bright. (I think lot of Asian immigrants would appreciate the bright lighting.) I liked that they have private rooms. Taste of the food was generally good. (The grilled mackerel was soft - it probably means they used a non-frozen fish.) My family and I love this location! We usually go for dinner on weekdays and service has always been great and very efficient. I love how lively the servers are and they always greet us when we walk in and say goodbye when we leave. They are really friendly which makes me comfortable asking for things. The food is amazing and we especially love the side dishes. I can't eat really spicy food but we can eat three servings of their kimchi, which has more of a sweeter taste than spicy. We also really enjoy their kalbi and mandu as well. The restaurant is very brightly lit and has a huge open space, which we really like. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My family loves So Gong Dong. We think they have the best soondubu/soft tofu stew in the area. The new location is spacious and clean. The staff have been generally fine.
