Before leaving a review, I wanted to wait until I had my leftovers for lunch today, to make sure I liked it as much as last night. Yup! We will be back. This was our first visit and John took good care of us explaining the different meats and sauces. He let me try the coleslaw because he was excited about his recipe and wanted my input! Well, it was delicious. I might even go back just to get some coleslaw. You can tell John takes pride in what he does and what he makes his food with. The atmosphere was nice and a fire pit table was available. There are TVs outside. You have to enter the food truck area thru the bar so be prepared to show ID. Not sure if it's kid friendly or not. I would be nice if there was some corn hole games outside. Maybe there was but I didn't see them. Thank you John for a great visit and delicious food!! See you again soon. I had the meat sampler plate and truffle fries! The sauces were all really good and the fries were the perfect texture! Unfortunately, they were out of mac n cheese when I got there. When speaking with the guy, he said that he didn’t like how it turned out that day therefore chose not serve it to customers. That comment made me like the food even more! Shows he has pride in his work, which of course translates to the food! Will be returning. Dog friendly patio, but you have to gain access to the patio from a bar which is 21+ Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Brisket

We randomly found this spot while visiting nearby Carlsbad. It's a food truck in the patio of a bar. It was absolutely delicious and a great hidden gem! There were out of a few items, but the guy working the truck gave us all the info and made great recommendations. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts!
