Decided to check out a new corporate kitchen operation on High Street. I was there for Smitty's BBQ. It is owned by Herb and JJ Smith. They have been doing bbq since 2006. You can order online or at the site on a kiosk. I ordered at the site. Getting a Pulled Pork Sandwich, Macaroni and Cheese, and Baked Beans. Took awhile for the food to come out. The sandwich came out on a toasted brioche bun with the logo branded on it. The sandwich had a fair amount of pork on it but part was warm and part cold. It was chopped up well and had a nice smoky flavor to it. The Mac and cheese was a thicker style but needed a little more flavor to it. Baked beans had a more neutral flavor to them, they added a fair amount of pepper to them to help with flavor. Not bad at all. They were out of cornbread which being open just a couple of hours is unacceptable. I will give them a pass for this visit as they are obviously just getting on their feet. Hopefully it gets better.

I ordered the loaded fries with chicken, nacho cheese, and bbq sauce . The fries are really crispy and have a nice seasoning. I will definitely be going back! Quick prep time too!

Got the 3 wing lunch combo.. not happy with the sauce it taste like tomato paste and taco seasoning.. the Mac and cheese wasn’t baked and had no flavor.. the smell gets u but the taste isn’t hickory or mesquite. Do you season the chicken before u cook it…

I tried the Mac & cheese brisket balls. It was delicious. I will definitely order again next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend trying Smittys bbq.
