After we placed our dine in order, our sides were plated and we were told there was. 3 minute wait in the fried chicken, and that they would bring it out. After 10 minutes we checked on it…they forgot about it. Our request for a knife to cut our food was declined, and after a bit of persistence, another staff member provided us with butter knives. The 4 lives of chicken served to the two of us was good, but it would have been nice to have all of our food served at once. The staff was indifferent, the restaurant dining room garbage containers were overflowing with trash, and the fact that there was only one other couple in the dining room should have tipped us off that the place has seen better days. I’ll never go there again. What a greasy spoon! Yuck! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Where do I start. First coming in the ladies aren’t very welcoming. Especially the young lady with the braids fixing the food. I’ve been in Savannah for a month working and reviewing black owned restaurants. I will have to say I’m totally unimpressed. The Mac and cheese was missing the cheese. As you can tell it’s very dry. The Turkey wing was okay. The sweet potatoes…. something was missing along with sweetness. The oxtails has more fat than anything. I wish I could have left a better review however, this was very disappointing. Considering this meal was $35.80! I’d rather go elsewhere and get my moneys worth. I would not suggest this place to no one. Bless it. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Our family stumbled upon this gem after visiting Old Fort Jackson. Great Southern food, big portions and pleasant ladies behind the counter. Not sure if they were the Sisters. If you get the opportunity give it a try. Oh and there banana pudding is awesome too.
