Nice hole in the wall, off the beaten path. The staff here are very friendly. The interior decor definitely gives the place a quaint theme. The food and prices were great. The chicken fried steak was well seasoned and breaded. My only complaint was that it was salty (without the gravy). And despite being slathered in gravy, the steak kept it'd crunchy texture. The salad bar was a nice touch. Nothing elaborate; just a simple salad bar with a few options each for dressing, vegetables, and various toppings. The fried catfish was also good too. Like the chicken fried steak, the breading was also well-seasoned (using corn meal). The only downside was that I (and most in our party) did not receive our hushpuppies (they looked great!). It's a nice restaurant worth checking out if you get the chance. Would come back again.
