Totally enjoyed this interesting bar concept - run by an elderly auntie (not my actual auntie but an endearment term we call elderly folk in Singapore), this shop appears unassuming when you walk past it. In fact I actually almost missed the place. Once in the shop, you can see the myriad of alcohol she has on offer. I was at a loss of what to choose from and asked the auntie for recommendations. She first recommended the 女儿红 (rice wine) which I wasn’t too keen on because I’ve had this wine many times before. Told her I wanted to try an alcohol from Malaysia which I’ve never tried before, and she brought out the Kokus Lychee Vodka (30% ABV). The lychee smell and taste was very strong, it was really nice. She then recommended us to mix this with Shams Lemon and some ice which we did and it turned out awesome. It was a very hot day, and this drink was perfect for the sweltering heat. Would totally recommend this place - it’s also kid friendly (I’ve seen two groups of people come in with kids, auntie also has soft drinks so the kids can enjoy that while the adults indulge in their alcoholic drinks). Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Loved this unique cocktail bar experience. Currently being run by a third-generation owner lady, this is a traditional standing bar which still serves local liquors and brews. Place is nearly a 100 years old and used to serve British and Japanese soldiers back in the day. The bar can seat about 7-8 people and there’s a smaller table for 4. Most liquor’s that we saw were made in Malacca. Aunty is chatty if you know her language, not so much in English. She’s kind and she recommended us to try the lychee and rose vodka on the rocks. Lychee vodka was stronger, rose was more smoother. Also tried the local lemon vodka. Lot of interesting liquor’s here and you can ask her to customise your drink. The bar closes at 5:30PM and she usually doesn’t entertain new patrons after that. She was happy to keep the place open till we finished our drinks. Strongly recommend if you like nostalgic experiences. Price per person RM 20–40 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Interesting place, came here the second time, this time brought friends here to experienced the old bar. This time there were fewer options of drinks to choose from. With the amount of the alcohol served, it was a bit pricey but again this is more for the experience. Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Amazing history of the old bar. Auntie is the 3rd Gen manning the bar and her son is the 4th. Drinks are cheap yet strong and unique. The vibe really gives u a journey back in time, like olden days bar. Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Vintage place with the retro vibes. Operated by this lady who is probably the 3rd generation running this. Drinks are either neat or on the rocks. Order by half or one peg. Aunty made the right recommendations based on our flavor preference. A must visit at least once.

U will never expect this shophouse to hold a bar stock with spirits, wine and beer. Served by a bartender lady who s ard 70 plus and doesn't drink. However it is that unexpected surprise that is like bringing u back to e vintage years. The bar according to e aunty s abt 100yrs old. Give u good vibes as u sip yr drinks. We had 6 shots with side of peanuts. Costing us rm140. Lychee vodka, rose rice wine, coffee rice wine and coconut rice wine. The lychee vodka s still e best recommendation. We even get to make friends from Australia and Britain. Come come. 来来。 Price per person RM 120–140 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Super old school bar where you can try out affordable liqueur between RM9- RM30+ depending on what you choose and volume ( Auntie charge by half or full peg, first timer/light drinker I suggest to go for half peg as some are quite potent). All prices are labelled on the bottle. They also sell sodas as well to go along with the liqueur. Available to purchase in small or big bottle depending on stock. Please note that only cash is accepted. Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Very cool place. Great selection of drinks. But the lady owner plays with you, you order half a portion and she gives you double. Tourists lets milk them. Go there but be aware. Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

This hidden bar is a true gem, with a delightful surprise in the form of a very friendly elderly lady bartender. Her warm hospitality adds an extra layer of charm to the experience. The bar offers a diverse selection of local drinks, showcasing the essence of the region. However, be sure to keep a keen eye out for this hidden gem, as it's easy to miss. Due to its limited seating and early closing time, you might have to wait if it's crowded, but it's absolutely worth the visit. Don't pass up the opportunity to discover this unique oasis! Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
