This is the most pathetic takeaway portion I've ever bought! The vegetable portion of this (vegetable) Thai green curry doesn't even fill half of the tiny little foil container (it is literally one broccoli floret, a piece of cauliflower and a cabbage leaf). Honestly, this is just insulting to think I've spent over a hundred bucks of hard earned money for less than R20.00's worth of food - a TOTAL rip-off. If you want overcooked yellow noodles that are mushy, this is the place to go. On more than one occasion I have received mushy, overcooked noodles. I even left a note requesting that the cook not overcook my noodles and guess what ? He paid extra care to overcook them yet again. Very disappointing. The food was great and the service good. The place can do with some music and a bit of a happy vibe. It's very quiet and you get the feeling this restaurant is geared for Uber Eats and Mr D. That being said our waitress was very friendly and we enjoyed our time here, but Simply Asia can do better by giving this place a bit of a "vibe". The food and the staff was just amazing. Just lived the food, I had the 6-piece starter, for the main s I had the duck with carrots with a side of rice. Simply Asia Northcliff is in serious need of an upgrade, the restaurant is dingy and outdated. For some reason we were unable to have a sit down dinner tonight, while still in operating hours, we were told they didn't have gas supply. The manager on service didn't even try to accommodate us as they were too eager to have an early nigh. Run down as it is, I wouldn't recommend this franchise.
