Second Review:
I went back to Simply Asia today, and the service was great, food was amazing, even realized I forgot to take a picture of my food because it’s already gone. I think the food is fairly priced, and it’s nice.
Also from last time they forgot to add soy sauce to my takeaway and they called and gave me free dessert just to say sorry. And I got the nicest chocolate spring rolls.
I recommend Simply Asia.
First Review: I am not the biggest fan of sushi in general but the prawns on the sushi were worth it. Loved it loved it loved it. Definitely going back there to try more. Staff was also very friendly, loved the lady that assisted me with my takeaway.
I didn’t like that they don’t give soy sauce for the sushi in the takeaway. Maybe something that can be added.

When it’s come to eat Asian I expect to eat to my fullest. The food was nicely cooked but the portions were very small compared to what we got from other Asian restaurants in the area for cheaper prices and same taste. Check the pics for more details. Simple portion from simply Asia. 😀

We have been regulars but the last few times we have eaten there, the food has taken forever with absolutely no apology or explanation. Tonight we waited over an hour for starter portions of the simplest, easiest sushi dishes.
Even after calling the waitress to find out what was going on, it took another 25 minutes. And every single staff member is behind the counter. When we got the food, no one apologized. We didn't bother ordering mains and went next door to get pizza takeaways.
You cannot expect kids to wait over an hour for dinner (starters to be exact) on a school night. We specifically went there because of loadshedding but may as well have eaten at home when the power came back on. We have tried giving you chances again and again because the food is great but we won't be back.

I’m writing this review as I sit in the restaurant and I’m so frustrated I can’t even wait to get home to write it. Took over an hour to get our sushi, when there was only 1 other table. Every delivery driver that came to fetch their deliveries complained about how long they had to wait. When we eventually received our food, the avo was ROCK hard, we had to take every piece of avo out of it. Sushi pieces were tiny, not at all worth the price even with half price. Owner/manager’s daughter was our “waitress” and she was so useless, never even came to ask us if we were good or wanted anything else. This was our go to restaurant, and unfortunately we will NEVER be here again.

Slowest service I have ever experienced. Took over 50 minutes to prepare 2 plates of sushi, and there was only 1 other table of 2 diners. The sushi chefs were the slowest I have ever seen. New chefs should be employed if this place is to survive

If I could rate this restaurant in the negatives I would... This was the worst experience I've ever had when it comes to eating out, from waiting over 2 hours for food when it was a total of 2 tables dining and some Mr D orders, to the horrible and rude service having to ask our waiter to repeat everything she says as I couldn't hear anything she said. Now.. let's get started on the food, I ordered a massive amount of sushi and every plate of sushi had extremely hard avocado and I was unable to eat any of it as it felt like biting into an eraser. This restaurant needs a miracle to save it I will never come back to this restaurant again.

Really like the food here. I would have given them a five but the food always take a bit longer than what they say. Put an extra 5 - 10 minutes on to the preparation of the meal. They are starting to reduce their plastic footprint, but bring your own dishes if you are trying to get rid of the plastic. Staff are still quite unaware of need to reduce plastic, but are open to being provided with dishes to put food in.
This branch does such good suchi but unfortunately the staff are so sloppy and every time we go they eating their lunch behind the counters, drinking beverages in front of the customers. Overall hate the atmosphere not professional at all. I now refunds to eat in at this branch.

Tried to call multiple times and they didnt answer so I went there to order. Didn't get my entire order, missing noodles and egg, had to change my drink order 3 times, no chopsticks and a 40 minute wait, they weren't busy at all either.
