Good place to visit with family or friends. Good food and decent price. My favorite is avocado, toast with smoked salmon. This place located in good area around this place. You can find a bunch of different things like movies, escape room, other food places and shopping stores. We came here before our movie last week and it was a nice time. The atmosphere is always very lively and the service we received was prompt and they came to check and see how everything was going. My girlfriend got the chicken noodle soup and I got the stuff apple French toast. I got a virgin drink that was like a mojito but with Sprite. My twin sister and I absolutely love coming here. We love sitting at the bar and we’ve received AMAZING service by Kim, Melanie, Xavier, and Kanchan. The managers, Brian, and Keyur are FANTASTIC. They Always have smiles on their faces when they greet us. This kind of service forces us to come back. We highly recommend the salmon, Caesar salad, with extra Salmon and we like to put corn beef hash in it. It’s soooooo delicious. Thank you SilverDiner our favorite restaurant. All right, to be honest this is my granddaughter‘s favorite place to go when we go on our outings down in the Rio I usually get breakfast we usually get breakfast together that’s our most favorite things at the Silver Diner is the pancakes, the little pork sausages, and what not I’ve gone there for lunch I really love the liver, the crab cakes But when it comes down to the french fries, no matter how you say can I get it hard, deep-fried crunchy fries Not here or with your meal the waiter always comes back to the table with french fries that look like they just stuck it in the microwave and if they try to cook it any longer It was just not gonna look as white as if it just came out the bag Always always disappointing that I don’t ask for french fries anymore also when they are having a staff meeting, they’re rushing to get to that meeting even though it’s at the counter they will not know whose food is whose food because they just trying to get to this meeting. It is necessary for all staff so far when it comes up to certain things that we’ve ordered, we always order it but when is the french fries baby, then french fries could be a tiebreaker for me. It makes me just wanna go home and make it myself but as what I’ve come to realize is that Silver Diner does hard fry so how can I ask for them to fry it if I never taste any oil and it just look like they took out of the bag and put it in the air fryer and just left it at a set temperature regular folks like. kind of disappointing to ask for something that you’re willing to pay for, but it be some bull. I really appreciate the management. Answer my call about the hot chocolate and let me know the name of it and how much caffeine it had in it when I called from a doctors appointment that was nice of them to do that when some restaurants would’ve been like click, we’re busy, but that was good. Other than that my family is a frequent customer but we are all know what stuff we like and what stuff we don’t. My biggest thing is the french fries but when it comes down to the drinks at the bar, yes you’re gonna leave there with a little bit of a give the keys to somebody else just yeah the bartender back there here she must work at a nightclub because they do the drinks, the healthy drinks with the cucumber and the other stuff not my flavor not my preference so we normally don’t get that the kids menu. Yes we love it either the breakfast mostly the breakfast, but this is our place because the one that we used to go to was in downtown Silver Spring, but now that they’ve all been revamped the one in the Rio is our favorite for right now. In my experience the food was so tasty I loved my cod with the mash it was so flaky and well cooked. As for the milkshake it has always been the best to drink. The other meal is beef tenderloin it was seasoned and cooked good. But the waitress forgot about the fries we ordered and we had to go ask for the check because she only brought the food and that was that. Our server, Christian (‘Chris’), makes our experience exceptional. This Silver Dinner, Rio location is my favorite. Fantastic atmosphere, friendly service and food is always good. Every time we go, we ask for Christian because he’s always friendly, patient and gives great recommendations. Besides the great breakfast/brunch options The chicken piccata is one of my favorites! Me and my mom have been going to this same Silver Diner for the past 3 years, and it is always consistently great. Food usually comes out fast, and staff constantly checks in with you, even the managers too. The Bacon Bleu Burger, The Shrimp and Grits, and The French Toast are each and every time phenomenal. Recently, I went to Silver Diner with my friends to this place for dinner. We ordered beef burgers, meatloaf with a salad on the side, salmon with veggies, and some milkshakes. The food was great, and the waitress who served us was super friendly. Good place for family and friends.
