I feel like I'm eating a donation from someone I don't know. It tastes good, but it's not good Price per person K 5,000–10,000 Food: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Good Halawa. 1viss ((1.5 kilo gram) is 10000kyats. At present this is the most famous Ha La Wa trade mark in Pathein region.

Mostly aimed for travellers. Wide variety of local traditional snacks available at little bit higher price than downtown shops. Even though some are really delicious, most of the snacks there are super sweet. They have some chain of souvenir shops too. Very wide compound for car parking.
The best Myanmar Dessert (ဟာလဝါ) in Myanmar. The shop is well organized, fast service and also has souvenir shop in the compound. There are also 2 ATM machines from KBZ and CB banks.
Can buy most of the souvenir you like in one place as well as the main outlet of traditional Pathein dessert called "Ha_La_Wah"

Best toilet facilities compare to others along the way from Ygn to Ngwe Saung. Delicious traditional foods, souvenirs and cane products are also available.
Shwe Myin Pyan Halawar is so delicious. I like it. I used to buy them to give my family & friends as presents.

Halawa is the name of a local dessert, based on potatoes, glutinous rice, sugar, milk, eggs and poppy seeds. Even the Burmese people from other regions stop by this place to get this rare dessert originating from Pathein.
