Great alcohol and food. Tried the pizzas and nachos here. The pizza sauce had a homely touch and not the typical fast food joint vibe. The pistachio ale is a different beer note I could explore here. They also had the Michigan-Ohio State game running on a projector. Great place and vibe overall.
We had to wait about 30-40 minutes for a table on a Saturday afternoon. Not too bad. We were sat kind of in the corner, and slightly forgotten (like had to flag server over a couple times). We ordered the cheese flatbread for an appetizer, and it was delicious! I ordered the club sandwich, which I didn’t love because they grilled the deli meats too, and I’m not a fan of hot deli meat. It made it slightly greasy unnecessarily dripping on the parchment. Yuck. My husband got nachos, which looked fantastic and he enjoyed. I tried them, and they were good. My kids got cheese pizza, and they liked it. I ordered the chocolate chip cookies and they do NOT taste like they were baked there. Bland way to end the meal. If we go back, I’ll have to try something else. But the decor was cool, and there were lots of people coming and going,

Their food is always great! Their cheese bread and salads hit the spot. Cool staff-- Jonathan was awesome. Good music. Tasty beer. Worth our long drive.

Shorts brewing is such a classic spot. The atmosphere is very classy and enjoyable with great customer service and a feel like everyone there is a regular. If you're around Bellaire you have to stop in. Obviously one of Michigan's top breweries.

Nothing like a beautiful Saturday with some specialty hard cider and delightful food! We got the nachos & "someday" sandwich. The nachos were loaded with everything and chips were fresh! The someday is definitely a go-to if you want something light but filling.

Great selection of beer and food! The pizza is amazing! They have a nice gift shop attached to the restaurant/brewery for all your Short's Brewing swag. (I didn't get the chance to go acrossthe street) but it looks like they have a very nice outdoor stage and food/beer truck area also. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of room! They also have an indoor stage for those cold or rainy days. I would definitely recommend this place!

A+ food and beer! I’ve of course had Shorts beer outside of the restaurant but it tasted even better here! Plenty of seating and tons of art on the walls to look at. Cool names for the food and so many options. Food came out quick! Servers are awesome too. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️

There’s no better place to recharge after a hard bicycle ride. But before I go on, I want the call out the exceptional wait staff at Short’s. I’m bad at remembering names but they are all from the same ultra-nice school of service. Now for the victuals—we started with Huma Luma Licious IPAs and a Local Light. Both excellent, ice cold in a classic chilled pint glass. We dined on Mac and Cheese and Reuben Sandwiches. The Mac rich and creamy and too filling to finish. The Reubens genuine in composition and carefully constructed. Did I mention tasty? Yes they were. The Special Side of the day was a macaroni salad which should have been called the garlic lover’s Mac salad but it was great anyway.
Arrived on a Sunday at 5pm the day before Memorial Day. We parked behind the building and walked to the front of the building where the entrance is. Was seated promptly but we were seated in the part of the brewery that looked like the renovated part where there was more room. We were fairly close to the bathroom which was nice. Waitress came over quickly and asked what we would like to drink. I wanted the pistachio nitro but it was already gone which was a bummer so I got what is in the picture below. The beer was ok, nothing special. I was able to get a few pub only pours but nothing stood out. Order a couple pizzas, one was the mushroom which was really good and the other was pepperoni and sausage that was good also. Had no complaints with the food or the service. I was kind of bummed I could find any glassware in the store. Mother-in-law got the Ruben sandwich which she said was good…not like I took a bite or anything. It is a popular brewery so if you’re in the area grab a pint and support the Michigan economy.
Great place to go with both a small or bigger group (6-10) as they have plenty of seating! I was amazed by how quick they took our orders and brought us our food even with a Saturday night crowd. Everything we had truly tasted amazing: broccoli cheddar soup, Mac n' cheese, and some pizzas! Definitely a great place for dinner or lunches.
