Everything you need you will find at ShopRite of Deer Park. Fresh fruit and vegetables, seafood section; butcher shop; cold cuts; delicious fresh bakery; frozen food; organic produce and vegetables section;variety of international food. They also have Western Union section. Very clean, well maintained and organized. Friendly staff! Plenty of parking space and handicap accessible.
Waited 10 mins in front of deli counter for cold cuts. No one even looked at me and just ignored me. I asked if i can take and order or should i come back. 1 person was busy changing tickets on 1 machine instead of helping me. The older gentleman heard my comment and apologized and took my order even though he was still busy. Horrible service.
i like shoprite but i got kicked out for no reason, this guy said i stole something but i did not steal anything and he said i cant go there anymore. Stupid workers
Not a huge fan of this location. The layout of the store is a bit strange with the frozen food located in the middle. Most stores have it at the "end" so you have less time for your food to defrost before checking out. Some of items are also located in odd places which, I'm sure with more visits I'd figure out, but it wasn't intuitive for a newer shopper. When i was there, most of the workers were either engaged in personal conversations or didn't really look approachable. I had high hopes because the location is great and the store is new, but after 2 visits, I'll stick to the Commack location.
I am super disappointed in this store. I shop here every single week and likewise buy the hot rotisserie chicken in the deli department every single week. I’ve been doing this for 6 plus years now. I came in tonight around 6pm and there was only 1 chicken left. Unfortunately it was not a full size chicken, but appeared half the size of the one I normally buy for $7.99. However this chicken was still marked $7.99. At the register I asked to speak with someone regarding my concern and was appalled. The employee himself stated the chicken looked like a 1/4 of a chicken, but Sue snatched the chicken away and said nope nothing we can do. The regular size chicken serves 4 people but this one clearly would only serve 2. This is a quality control issue— I buy these chickens every single week- why would I pay $7.99 for a chicken that is very clearly half the size it normally is? It should have been marked differently and charged accordingly. There were no other chickens left and none cooking to be brought out. Instead of discounting this chicken and apologizing, this is how a loyal customer was treated. I would have been happy paying $5.99 since it would have been an acknowledgment that this chicken was clearly not the normal size. I find it appalling that the people left to run this store would not do the right thing. The store manager was not in but I will be following up with him/her tomorrow.
The employee in the front was EXTREMELY nasty & rude to me. I rode a motor bike so my items have to go in my book bag, so instead of holding the line up while I pack my bag, I stepped to the side of an exit they clearly do not use but there’s a windowsill there. The young man politely told me that wasn’t a exit, and I told him I know I just wanna pack my bag out of the way. Then here comes negative Nancy huffing and puffing and just plain RUDE; says omg the alarm is gonna go off. The alarm can not go off if I’m not trying to push the door and exit. How was I doing something in consideration of others behind me, to then being rudely scolded. She was just very unprofessional and should never handle customers the way she did me.

At 16$ a pound for board head turkey this is how the rude deli worker sliced it last night. Not sure what was going on I was polite. Not one slice I could do a regular sandwich with. There’s no way the worker didn’t notice when she packaged it. Called the store the second I got home. They did nothing and wanted me to drive back with it. Emailed shop rite corporate as well. I never have an issue here this is my normal supermarket. If people don’t want to cut expensive cold cuts the right way they should be fired. Management and customer service there sucks too.
