A couple of years ago I was yelled at for picking up a couple of pennies of the floor by a manager and have not really returned. I finally made a grand return yesterday and the local worker Karen proceeded to give me beef about using a re-usable bag to carry items in rather than the baskets which are often unavailable due to customers stealing them. It was a good reminder why I never go to this Shoprite, half the employees are Karens, the other half are depressed, and some I assume, are good people. Seriously dont go here, lots of anger issues among management. Just go to Shoprite in Wall, if I wanted to get yelled at while shopping id visit Walmart.
This store has become a complete train wreck. Dirty floors, awful bathrooms, shelves are disorganized and usually a complete mess. The prime meat counter is either unstaffed, or staffed by a tall guy that is NASTY and Rude. Store manager also walks around with an angry face and is completly unresponsive

Good afternoon. I am giving three stars only because my cashier tried to say I had a zero balance on my gift card after my transaction. She proceeded to hand me my receipts and I said, you never gave me my gift card back. She said there's a zero balance you can look at the receipt. I said, "okay. Can I have my gift card?" Needless to say, she gave me my gift card and I checked the balance slip and it has a 71 dollar balance . I wish I caught her name. She was African American. Shame on you for lying and saying I had a zero balance so you could pocket the remainder of my 71 dollar balance

A very nice shoprite with a great selection of items that are easy to find. The store was very nice, clean and organized too, was able to find all of the things that I needed with ease. Will be back again in the future if I’m ever in the area

I shop here often and I'm usually happy, until this time. I had about 20 soda bottles and about 5 random items, and I'm heading to self checkout and I get stopped by some employee (female, dark brown/black hair , bangs ,on the shorter side , lipstick that made her look like a witch) and she says you can't check out here because it's only for a max of 20 items . Is she crazy or just a witch? if I have 20 bottles of soda and 5 random items I can check out 2x quicker then someone with five fruit/veggies that have to be weighted ,besides the fact that there were a few open lanes by self checkout and the cashier's had long lines. A real jerk of an employee. And I don't want to see a response from shop right please email us with more info or something stupid like that take care of the issue!!! these are all the details you need to take care of it.

This place is full of old and depressed people. No hospitality, and ridiculously and rudely reroute you away from the self-checkout even with a shallow cart. Very upsetting, Im sticking with Aldi.

Not senior citizen or disabled friendly. Was already a problem with some cashiers "bagging" before the "no plastic rule" ShopRite, Walmart, etc made a deal with governor & said okay--as long as we no longer have to supply the bags. Bring your own and by the way, customers you now have a new job. Most of the "scanners" just look at you blankly when it's time. I have physical limitations ( not obvious). I shouldn't have to explain personal medical info to ANYONE. I spent over $250 and had to bag most of it myself. Are you going to help? I ask. -- if you want me to was the reply. In the meantime, some customers were rolling their eyes because I couldn't move as fast as they would have liked. I just turned to them & shrugged. Complain to management - maybe they will do something about it. So is that the job of cashier's now? They are hired to just scan? I hate this store, & shop there as little as possible out of necessity. ( A few things I can't get elsewhere) I miss the A&P. Don't mind spending nickel or dime more on items elsewhere most of the time. Before plastic what did we do? Oh yeah -- they supplied the bags. By the way ---- bigger is not always better.

Ciara at the bakery is the SWEETEST. She went above and beyond for me saving a cake for pickup for my moms birthday. She needs a raise and a shout out for being so kind. Thank you SO MUCH!!! I work in customer service and she was the prime example of what great service looks like.
I was just in this store and was treated like I was less than nothing I bought two containers of sushi and asked for 2 spicy sauces and Mao said you can buy it you can't just get a lot of it because you asked for it spend the money. I said I never asked for a lot I just wanted the 2 small sauces it comes with he was very rood and the women he was working next to him spoke in their language and started laughing I shop there often but the sushi bar gave me the worse experience I ever had there beware of Mao
