I went to do a booking urgently for a intercape bus ticket because I know prices can change quickly and I only had enough to be in cape town the lady wearing the customer service band has no customer service skills because she was talking in tswana bear in mind im from cape town on holiday in mahikeng ...i explained nicely its me my wife and daughter under 12 but she wanted to bill me for 3 adults ....children under 12 pay less.when i asked her if she knows what she is doing she looked at me irritated and then just walked away without saying anything...i ended up walking to checkers where i assisted .later the day the prices went up i doubt that i will ever go back to that shoprite.im thankful for the lady from checkers mahikeng for her great service.
Worst customer service ever, rude and slow tellers
Asking them for a cashback service is like you are borrowing Shoprite's money
Long queues, even at the "10 items or less" queue where you would expect the service to be faster
You will wait for more than 40minutes in the queues
They keep expired item on the shelves/fridge, eg Darling drinking yogurt, Douglas fresh cream and Parmalat cheeses
Do away with those ladies who are always parading around the store with the "customer service" saches because they think that their job is to scold customers and not improving the "customer service"
They close at 14:00 on Sunday, not at 17:00 as reflected
The service at that store is very appalling, I don't know whether it's because the majority of their customers are poor black people but they need to do better.
Some years ago, I wrote a very negative review about this Shoprite supermarket. Well, not anymore. Talk about a 360 degree turn. When I was there lately, wow! I was impressed beyond words. A new shop layout, visible shelf packers who assist us promptly. Beautiful, young, respectful and energetic cashiers. Wow! I was mortified. I can also see that you dealt with those boys who used to harras the customers at the entrances. That's what I'm talking about. A company that listens and act. Because we, as consumers, have a right to voice our dissatisfaction whenever there is need. But it must be constructive criticism. Congratulations to you Shoprite for all that visible changes. We'll done!
I service I have received today from the cashier by the name of Katlego Machuisa its so horrible and disappointing as she was so rude towards me when I was asking her questions about the items on the Combo that I wanted to buy, the matter escalated to the manager but it's with no use the manager didn't want to even listen what is the problem she just left without me getting a resolution to the matter
That Shoprite has staff that lacks respect and doesn't know how to speak to people I will never buy at that shoprite ever again
There's no customer care like zero customer care. There was loadshedding and their backup went off, they didn't even bother to explain what is really happening because we thought maybe the electricity is back kante nex. Some people even left the store.Electricity came back and from as much time we were queuing waiting and waiting they told us they want cash no card payment like where were we supposed to get cash 😏 after almost an hour they now say we can swipe but no cash back yoh Shoprite ‼️
Horrible customer service... no enough trolleys when the store is busy! Staff pack shelves using customer trolleys and refuses to giving them up when the store is busy and there are no trolleys for customer to use while shopping. Cashiers are very unapproachable and moody. I'll never recommend this store to anyone
