4.45 stars Good trip to Sho Express. Got a text message for a good deal of the day and decided why not. Staff was helpful and attentive. Place was clean. Chose a chicken teriyaki bowl and a tempura fried shrimp roll. Bowl was out at my table within a minute of sitting down and was very hot and tasty. More rice than anything, but the chicken and veggies were good. The roll was not what I was expecting but was very tasty as well. With that said.. the deducts came from the menu selection in general. The sushi choices are mostly of low shelf ingredients like cream cheese and maybe a single salmon choice. The poke bowl to my disappointment was only a lump of either raw tuna or salmon with no veggies or rice or seaweed salad for $17, which are options for sides mind you. An expensive mid level option overall. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Recommended dishes Teriyaki Chicken

VERY rude when taking order. The food is wonderful, but the man who took my order was being sarcastic and trying to make me leave so he didn’t have to work. Very upsetting since this is my favorite place to eat. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

There was hairs embedded in the rice on my sushi roll. I had always heard bad things about this location but hadn’t experienced it for myself until now. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1
Well I would have given 5 stars, if the guy working the register was nicer and less sarcastic. I am new to bg, and have never been to shogun, but when I went in and asked for a menu, the cashier said quote “ma’am it’s 2024… the menu is on the screen above you.” Whether or not he was joking, I expect at least an older man to have better customer service…

Heard a lot about their ban bang shrimp. Was not impressed. Keeping in mind it is a fast food setup, which I typically avoid, was not that appealing. I’ve never had bang bang shrimp served in a pool of soy sauce. That is what killed it for me. It may have been good, but when they put the crisp fried shrimp drizzled in sriracha sauce into a pool of soy sauce made it soggy even after trying to eat it immediately. This place definitely needs to learn how to properly make bang bang shrimp. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10
I had the craziest experience going here for the first time last night. The guy taking my order at the drive thru was so weirdly combative and rude like a child who didn't have enough experience with customer service yet but I could tell by his voice that he was much older than that, so I'm guessing he just hates life and/or his job. I asked what vegetables come in the yakisoba and he was like "the vegetables that come in it!" 😂😂 He was angry I didn't already know even though it was not listed on the menu or angry that I wasn't ordering in the way he wanted even though he didn't seem to know how to effectively communicate anything to a customer who has basic questions. This attitude never let up even though I let him know I was new and I tried to keep de-escalating instead of just driving away since I've worked drive thru and was trying to be understanding. A few more examples: when asking what sauce came with the crab rangoons I got another "the sauce that comes with it!" in a combative tone even though it wasn't listed, and when trying to make sure I would get a white sauce: "you get that with the yakisoba, I was trying to tell you that!" when he could have easily done so and did not... Guys this was not even all of it, I had never had an experience anywhere like this and I've heard a lot of tough drive thru situations and even had to de-escalate for others as a manager. I never spoke rudely or raised my voice but kept getting this strange combative behavior from him, I honestly wanted to ask him if I'd done something to offend him but I knew that would probably make him lose it and I just wanted my food... Until I pulled up to the window and was shocked that one noodle bowl with cheap steak and some crab rangoons was $25! So yeah, there's a lot of reasons not to come to this place. Vegetable eggroll was discussed and tasted worse than store bought and microwaved Tuna rolls fishy. Steak was mostly gristle and fat Food: 1
The yakisoba bowl was so salty and had so much ginger that it could not be eaten! To spend $12 +4 dollars for chicken to throw it out was uncalled for! The noodles were mushy and was an all around bad dining experience Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2
My wife and I have enjoyed Sho Express Bowls many times. They are tasty and a quick meal. However, the rapid rise in their prices has pretty much made this fast-food meal too expensive for us to continue to enjoy. We have visited Sho Express approximately 1-2 times per month. On our last visit to the drive through, we ordered 1 rice bowl with chicken and shrimp and 1 noodle bowl with beef and an order of egg rolls (no drink). This cost approximately $41.00. This is a steep increase from what we paid in the past for this fast-food meal. We feel we will no longer be visiting Sho Express. Very impressed! I didn’t expect to like this as much as I did. I got the teriyaki chicken noodle bowl and it was full of fresh veggies, juicy flavorful chicken, and noodles that were packed with taste. Also highly recommend the pecan pie…it doesn’t look like much but was surprisingly tasty. Staff was very friendly and checked on us to make sure we enjoyed our lunch. Very fresh and delicious and would come again. Didn’t try the sushi this time but would if I was in the area again. Bonus it was VERY fast. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
