I love shirley sub shoppe. The food is consistent and staff is pleasant. We order from them often and communication is always easy. I get the avocado BLT panini and a side of bacon cheese fries. First their customer service is awful. Often they are messing up orders and refuse to give refund, credit, or replace food. They make every excuse to not remake your food or refund your money. I was suppose to have a simple streak and cheese lightly toasted with mayo. I got the driest and burnt sandwich I ever had. When I called their response was I should have ate it immediately it wouldn’t been dry. By far the worst place to get food especially for the excessive price. My husband and I were talking recently how delicious the pizza was when we moved here 7 years ago. It has changed ( don't know what they changed?) having said that we love so many of their other offers but eating in could be so much more cozy. Maybe half curtains so it felt warmer. The potential for a small delicious restaurant is there with a little creativity! Atmosphere: 2

Food's decent most of the time, a step above a lot of other local sub shops that you'll encounter in central Mass, and it's usually ready on time. The pizza's more of a NY style (drier crust instead of a greasy Greek style), so if that's your thing then you're in luck! But the online ordering system isn't so great. It's been up for like 3 years and half of the subs are still missing descriptions so...good luck with that. Should you bother to customize your sandwich, what comes on it by default? Does this thing already come with cheese, or will you pay $1 extra for insurance that it does? How are you supposed to know what the House Special is by the name alone? It's a mystery. Also can confirm that Fox News is usually on in the lobby, which is pretty polarizing for a pizza place. It's your business, you're allowed to make that choice for sure, but ohhh that doesn't seem wise. I know that I don't want to think about politics when I'm just trying to gain the materials to eat my problems away. Life's hard enough these days as it is, y'know?

Order again tonight food and service was great. We order an Al Pacino pizza, pasta and a couple appetizers. Everybody loved the food. Service was also great! Definitely be ordering again keep up the good work. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

They have never gotten my order right. Every time I try to order a sandwich I'm given a wrap with fries. Even if I try or just order th sandwich the register gives the same price, which is $4 higher than the price given online. They are blaring fox news on the TV at a gross volume. As a nonbinary trans person this does not invite me to come back. The entire front area of the restaurant smells like bathroom chemicals. Family members and I were sick after eating here. They refunded all but the 20% tip, but not before the accusatory 'You were the only ones who supposedly got sick. But Okay.' Nope. Ate a pepperoni calzone from this place and proceeded to vomit and diarrhea for the rest of the night. Be careful ordering from here. Don’t know how you screw up a calzone but I felt violently ill. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
