Update: unfortunately my husband got really sick after his meal...only thing he ate was his burger and fries 🍔 😐 🤷‍♀️ We just moved to Oregon from Wisconsin and had to check out the local diner scene! Shari's did not disappoint 🤩 All of our food was delicious and the service was great! We loved the pie!! Typical diner atmosphere but we loved it!! Will be going back!! We've been coming here weekly for at least 6-7 years. Molly is our server, and we have 2 favorite tables depending on how many people will be meeting us there in any given week. She know us so well she brings our favorite drinks to the table as soon as she sees us parking, and knows our usual orders incl customizations, and favorite pies. She doesn't have to write down people's orders, because she's been doing it so long she can memorize them. In fact, Molly was serving there back when my partner was still attending Sherwood High School, and he's now in his mid 40's! There are so many regulars in the area that come in to see her. She is truly a part of what we love about Shari's! Carlos and Jorge - the cooks - also know how we like our food cooked. It's like walking into "Cheers" and feels like a home away from home. (For those that aren't old enough to know the Cheers reference, it was an 80's sitcom about a bar with a lot of regulars "where everybody knows your name"). Kim is now the General Manager, but she's been doing a lot of the management stuff as a supervisor the whole time we've been going there - so she'll handle things with ease. She always decorates the place nicely for whatever season or holiday is coming. Very welcoming. Food was sad, very slow even though there were lots of servers and not very many tables. Me and my mom attempted to order a Turkey Bacon club, but got a BLT instead. The fries were very oily, and after we got a triple layer pumpkin cream pie and the crust was soggy. The only thing I like about this place is that it's clean, and not too loud, the dr. pepper was good, we let them know and they took care of the issues. Great customer service! I went to sharies on Christmas with my daughter and my son I wanted to .take it special since I haven't seen my daughter in 14 years . I understand it was Christmas and to expect a long wait, but not only was the food gross butt we waited almost 2 hours and the time we went their was not a lot of people . I was told some workers didn't show up so I understand that but also the food was so plain and gross I eat it anyway since im diebetic one good thing is the lady did bring me a saled ahead of time . It took so long for our food that me and my daughter couldn't have alot of time together since she had to leave early once the food got to the table she had to put in to go boxes and leave . Sharis is my go-to for family get-together, so I was very disappointed 😞 that I had to experience that at one of my favorite places . I felt so embarrassed since my daughter felt rushed . We were there Christmas day. My food was poorly cooked, my husband's food never arrived. The experience took about 2 hours. Our server was very nice, but unable to get the kitchen to produce an entire order. Delivery food was lined up on the counter. The diners next to us left without one of them eating also. There is a waitress there at night, blonde hair, small. She messes our orders up every time we go. She is very rude. VERY RUDE. She should not be around people. No good at serving, talks to friends instead of getting your food, she talks about cusomers, IM NOT GOING BACK . Sherri’s is unreliable at night, I drive for Uber eats and 9 times out of 10 they are not open as late as they claim to be. It’s not only frustrating for the customer but it loses me gas money and time as well. I will never be accepting another Sheri’s delivery again after 8 pm because their management is so bad it’s just a losing prospect to put any faith that they will be operating in the way they advertise. Thanks for once again wasting my time and money Sheri’s, it’s best to just assume your management is going to drop the ball, because 9/10 times that’s what they’re going to do.
