The dishes were nicely presented, the ingredients very fresh and all the dishes tasted great.
A lot of small ideas impressed me, like the eel, with fish liver served in a waffle biscuit, or the Wagyu Beef on a toast.
Eating the eel like a 'hamburger' or the Wagyu as an open-faced sandwich brought new flavors, new taste experiences.
As the menu is designed for a fine dining event, it would be helpful if there were more information about the dishes, instructions on how to eat and enjoy them.
It is important to unterstand the chef's ideas and intentions.
Also, the sea urchin dish was a dream, especially when eaten wrapping all ingredients served together.
The service was nice, friendly, perhaps a bit too fast to enjoy all those dishes with those great flavors and perfect ingredients.
But for sure it was a wonderful experience.

The food quality was great, and also the look by appearance, except for beef slices placed on a slice of toast which in my opinion reduced the overall texture and level of that dish.
We came with a reservation but we were late for nearly 20 minutes. It was a normal Monday evening with 4 tables of reservations. You could feel obviously the waitress delivered the first few dishes very fast (we were not done with the current plate and the next dishes were brought to the table) trying to catch up with the dish sequence of the other tables. We mentioned this to the waitress to slow down a bit (since it’s not a average price restaurant) but she’s like because you guys were late!
I was rather astonished hearing that reply after all these years dining in various +1500 up per person restaurants. I tried not to get affected mentally since it’s family reunion for birthday celebration, but indeed I don’t think about paying another visit regardless of its food quality.
You might enjoy properly if you arrive on time! That’s what I can think of after our visit on a rainy evening.
Speaking of the dishes, the roasted fish jaw was awesome in terms of taste and portions. And again I would have left a 2-3 stars comments if i had a malignant heart!
Best omakase in Keelung and Taipei area. Highly recommend. Must try when visiting Keelung. The chief/owner is supper nice. Will definitely be back next time!!
