I really like Shang Palace’s duck, and this visit was my first time trying their seafood fried rice. It’s now among my favorite fried rices. If you order duck, you can choose either congee or tomato soup. I can imagine some being too full to stomach congee by the end of their meal, so I recommend choosing the tomato soup. The bok choy isn’t cut/split up (which is what I would prefer), but the flavor of the broth is really good. They seemed somewhat short on staff compared to the number of diners, but service wasn’t too slow. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Recommended dishes Roasted Duck

Shang Palace super recommended. This is my first review. Paul Chang is very nice and very passionate on service. The food was fantastic . Super good that I booked again to come tomorrow. Pual is super that he prepare small portions for ppl who don’t eat much. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $2,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Dining experience with family during lunar new year holidays. -Duck: wonderfully prepared and delicious, 10/10! -Other dishes: apart from the duck, we were disappointed by the quality of the duck soup and the other dishes, good but not quite up to the price range. -Staff service: very disappointing experience for a Shangri La :-( not professional at all. *when ordering, the staff had trouble explaining their dishes. *when we paid the bill, we noticed we were charged 8 persons for the tea (instead of 4) and then per chance we noticed we were charged the wrong dish (880 instead of 480). —> Upon perceiving the 2 errors, the staff’s reaction was quite awkward: she did not apologize, and she asked (in quite an impatient tone) if we could check if there were any other additional error before re-editing the bill (??) Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1,400–1,600 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Roasted Duck

Had high expectations but it was quite average. We went for lunch dim sum a la carte and the dishes were quite basic. Customer service was lacking and the staff seemed frantic and busy most of the time. Glad I only came here because I had dining credits.

Very cozy and relaxed environment. First time here for lunch which I had called to book on the night before. The best dish we had here was the 香宫冰花排骨 Pork Rib⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and the carrot cake, cha siew crust, shrimp dumpling is good too. The beef cubes are too fatty to our liking, the chicken feet and beef stomach could be better if it is cooked slightly more to make it softer and let the gravy goes into the taste. Overall good experience here. We will definitely be back for the 香宫冰花排骨 Pork Rib. Oh, last but not least, the staff here are very friendly, attentive and helpful.👍👍👍👍👍

Incredible dining experience in Shang Palace Highly recommend the Chinese restaurant in the Hotel, delicious dim sum and sophisticated atmosphere, everything is perfect, notably the service of the team, they are super friendly and professional. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
The food was good, but not out of this world. Who puts gold leaves on dim sum? Keep it simple. The lunch time is dim sum time. If you come at night like I did, there will be fewer options. It was too expensive for what it is. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Service is extremely slow. We waited for so long after the first few dishes of dim sum then I had to remind the waitress that we still have dim sum and she went to the kitchen and took out food out. The bbq pork is too fatty and the fat is very imbalance. The meat is rough too. Food is just average but the service is way below average.
