Shake shack is overpriced and under filling but alas it was my only food option at the time. The bun is too small for the size of the patty, the patty is too thin/“smashed” so it makes for a messy experience. The fries were good so I’ll give them that. Noticed they were advertising a new hot chicken sandwich and fries but it didn’t have a price and it wasn’t on their menu so you have to ask for the price. It was the first place where I had my dinner when I went to Boston this time. I had a hot chicken burger meal with soda. Chicken burger was adequately cooked, spiced and a taste treat for the hunger. Potato chips cut in spiral shapes and blended soft in white sauce. It was a feast!! Horrible. Basic skills to prep food based on order. NO cheese. And $1.99 for bacon which was pathetic 1/4 strip. Order was ready, bag was turned the other way could not view name. Food cold. Got a message saying my order is ready and will be brought to you soon. After five minutes of waiting, I went to a counter and found my cold fries. Had a seriously appalling mobile pickup experience this Sunday evening. I stood by well past the time window the app gave me, waiting for my order to be put on the online pickup shelf. I watched them bag and put out orders, and there was no system I could discern for which orders they put on the shelf and which they left on the counter. Some people went up with their phones to get their orders but I assumed they were delivery drivers and that that was what they were supposed to do. The app and shelf signage were very clear, so I waited for my order to be put out. After a long while I finally went up and gave them my name, and they turned around and handed me one of the bags from the back counter. It had been sitting back there, sealed and waiting, while I patiently waited for the staff to do what they’re supposed to do. I ask the employee why it was sitting there, and they say, “I don’t know. Sometimes we get a lot of orders.” Seriously? I quickly leave, hoping my food wasn’t back there so long that it was bad—but it was. After the five minute drive home the food was stone cold. The cheese on the fries solidified, and the shake melted. It was like straight up milk. And not only that—they also forgot burger toppings we ordered (and paid for), and added ones that we didn’t. The lettuce was one of the saddest little lettuces I’ve ever seen. And then the burgers didn’t even taste good…they were kind of off and bitter. I’ve been to many Shake Shack locations across the country and never had an experience like this. I think I’ll be opting for another burger place from now on. The person who took our order was so nice! Very timely. Their food never disappoints. The chicken sandwich isn't bad, but I really like their burgers. I'm a fan of the soft buns and the sauce. They have a vegetarian mushroom burger that I really enjoy as well. It's a mushroom stuffed with melty cheese. The shakes are nice and thick. The tables were a bit untidy, but that's mostly due to the customers thinking they don't need to pick up after themselves. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I ordered the Shake Shack Spicy Hot Ones bacon burger. The picture I took does not do this buger justice. It tasted amazing, and the heat level in the burger sauce was just perfect. For those who like a low level of heat then this burger would be way too hot for you. I also added a package of Louisiana hot sauce that Shake Shack supplies, and the burger was extra deliciously hot. The crinkle cut fries were good, but not exceptionally so. Someone in my group ordered the chicken nuggets, and they were crisp and moist and absolutely delicious. The shakes are great. I was at the Arsenal Park location, and service was very polite and courteous, but they forgot multiple items in our order. It was super busy when we were there. Just don't go here if it is anywhere near lunch or dinner. Their POS system is wildly inaccurate for your wait time and is consistently losing orders. I waited 30 minutes or so with my most recent order to only find out it never went through on their end and I'd need to place it again.
