We live in Springfield, but my husband is a traveling contractor who sometimes stays in Coos Bay for weeks at a time. Every time I go down to visit him on long weekends, I make him take me to Shake N Burger for a fat bacon cheeseburger, battered fries, and a strawberry shake. It's one of the best cheeseburgers I've found at a restaurant (the best being grilled burgers at home), and I'm always recommending the place when I hear folks mentioning they're going to the area. Just plain old good burgers and fries! Friendly staff (mostly family). Decent pricing too! Everything there is just as it should be, good! Right next to 7-11 as you come into town. Loved the mom & pop shop feel of this classic burger joint. The western BBQ bacon burger was hearty and delicious without being too sloppy. The menu had pleasant variety without being overwhelming. I always appreciate a good corndog, and this place did them pretty well. The service was fantastic, and although there was a pretty good wait time, the food and service were worth it. So good! I got a strawberry milkshake and a regular burger, my husband got the western special, and they were both delicious. Also got a side of garlic cheese curds and loved the amount of garlic. So impressed with this random small burger joint in the middle of nowhere. Service was incredible, the young man who served had such a fun and enjoyable attitude. The burgers and fries were great, and the price was competitive! If we go back to Shore Acres, we will definitely go back here. Glad we stopped while driving through! Food and service was great. Burger was full of flavor. Supposedly something was out or down with making a strawberry shake and they offered another method. Amazing! Tasted great! Will be making it a point to stop here in the future when passing through. The BLT and fries are very good and there ice cream is awesome. The restroom was clean and the restaurant was clean the staff were very friendly and efficient. I was told there is a 45 minute wait when I arrived but it turned out to be about 15 or 20 minutes. I will definitely be coming back here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Michael was a 5 star server and then some. The food was delicious, well priced, and high quality. They were slammed and short staffed so the place looked pretty dingy with too much trash on the floor and a flooded men's room, but we couldn't really get unhappy as they kept all the eating surfaces spotless and gave truly phenomenal, fast and friendly service. Great burgers for a great price. The staff was awesome! We enjoyed our dinner. What a nice place to visit. They have wonderful french fries 🍟 😋 This is a family friendly restaurant. They give you a whole bottle of ranch and Fry sauce to use at your table. Staff was very Accommodating to my dietary needs. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
