Here on vacation and picked Shaggy’s because of the menu and good reviews. Arlene took care of us and she was fantastic! She was friendly, able to give recommendations, and laugh with us. She was also very attentive and we were well taken care of during our meal. Food was great, I am a sucker for coconut shrimp and their platter did not disappoint. The sauce was perfect with the sweetness. My husband went for the mac and cheese, he loved it! We went for the beach balls as an appetizer, tasty but very dense and filling, def couldn’t finish our meal along side those but glad we tried them. All the staff were super friendly and created a very welcome atmosphere. Restaurant was nice, very spacious, decorations were cute. We will def try to stop in again before we leave. Kacie was amazing at explaining all the different food. We came down from Ohio for a college visit and was told to visit Shaggy’s. I am NOT disappointed. Friendly staff, fun managers.. AMAZING FOOD!!! Super good drinks!!! Seafood boil was amazing and this coming from someone who doesn’t eat seafood. It’s a definite MUST TRY!!! Thanks so much for the laughs!!! Loved it. We were greeted with a smile and promptly seated. Service was friendly with suggestions that we heeded. The food was excellent. Portions were way too large but some would appreciate it. We had the lobster fries for appetizer that were loaded with shrimp and oh so good. I had the shrimp three ways that were delicious but when I return I would opt for the bacon wrapped only because they were delicious. My daughter ordered the jerk bowl with the jerk sauce on the side at the suggestion of our waiter, which was the way to go. The sauce was tasty but super spicy....add with caution. My other daughter ordered the crab cakes and loved them. I wish they had an option for just boiled crab legs but that wasn't an option. The view was superb. I recommend. We came because the reviews were so good and they were absolutely right! Our waiter Zack was excellent. He gave great recommendations and was fun to talk to. The food was amazing. We had the crab stuffed flounder, the firecracker shrimp tacos and the cool chick sandwich. The food was all delicious and cooked perfectly. It sits right on the water and you can sit inside or outside. I highly recommend checking this place out if you have a chance. My wife and I enjoyed the experience on a weekday for lunch without the kids. We've been to multiple Shaggy's locations and are impressed every time. My shrimp po-boy was overflowing and flavorful. Fries were hot and fresh. My wife loved her grilled redfish and jasmine rice. Tie-Dye margarita was even better than I expected. Server Zach was extremely friendly and caring. My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Shaggy's. The food was very good, with fair pricing, and generous portions. Bobby, our server was attentive and very friendly. He made great recommendations for the Royal Red shrimp and gave some information on how the shrimp were caught. The shrimp were the highlight of the meal! We also shared the fried green tomatoes with crab and the Red Snapper dish. Both were great! The lobster mac side is excellent as well and under $5. WOW! Absolutely amazing food. Our server Zack, was friendly, quick and extremely polite. The hostess was so sweet and informative. I would eat here again tonight for dinner if I could. One thing for sure every trip from Florida to Biloxi will DEFINITELY include Shaggy's!!!! 😋😋😋 Absolutely recommend Shaggy's! 💙 Update came back the next day to order the Sunset salad to take back to Florida with me. We decided to eat here today because it called my attention. We came in from New Orleans so we definitely wanted a scenic view. Anna immediately greeted us and she was in such awesome spirits! Gave us menu and put our drink orders in super quickly. We had Kacie as our server and she was on top of everything! Always had a smile and gave such great recommendations! Everything we had today was delicious!! Everything was fresh as well. We definitely will come back to enjoy the night time scene .the staff was spectacular and the food amazing! We are on vacation and have been here twice. Love the atmosphere and whether they are busy or not the have extremely fast service. Kacie took care of us and she was very pleasant and attentive. Great food excellent service and a good view of the Biloxi Beach at sunset. What more could you ask for? We had an excellent waiter. Bobby took good care of us and made sure to check up on us all throughout supper. We got a top shelf margarita and they also carry non-alcoholic beverages so we got a Stella. The special tonight was a seafood boil and it was a big meal and very well prepared. See the pictures that I took with this. I got the captain's platter and it was just as terrific with shrimp, crab cakes, flounder and all of it seasoned and grilled, prepared in a most delicious way. All of the servers seem to work together very well. There was not a significant wait for the food and it was timed almost perfectly. Just when I thought we were done, Bobby told us about the blueberry cobbler white chocolate cheesecake dessert. A perfect finish to a great meal blueberry cobbler in front of her Unfortunately it was in the low 40s today so we could not sit out on the magnificent deck that allows you to see the entire Beach coast of Biloxi. They did have heaters outside on the deck but it just did not look that interesting in the low 40s. Update 2/21/24: I can't give them any more stars than what I already have but this place is awesome. Tonight I had the royal red dinner and it was amazing. We also again had a very good server with Bri who took very good care of us. Besides the awesome food here, I have to give credit to the teamwork that the staff shows. They seem to work well together, cover for each other and make sure that no guest is lacking for anything or waiting on anything. There's also a guy named Kenny who seems to do all the cleanup work. That guy never stand still and gets every table back ready for the next customer quickly. Always polite and friendly just like the rest of the staff here.
