Most unpleasant experience on this morning’s training ride when I stopped for coffee at Seattle Coffee in Hout Bay and one of the two male staff members on duty responded to my concern about bad customer service by challenging and mocking me in front of a full shop of customers. I definitely won’t be back! Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
I love Seattle Coffee. We passed by and the service was great. Great Coffee too and customer service. Check them out. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Poor customer service. Today I forgot a full bottle of cold water at the teller when I paid. I spent 30 minutes in the cafe thereafter drinking coffee. The baristas admitted they threw the bottle away. Instead of apologising, they displayed a bad attitude. This is not how to treat your customers if they leave belongings in the cafe while they are still there. They should keep any belonging aside for at least an hour. Service: 1

Houtbaai visit and stopped over at Seattle Coffee Company. We had Americano, Red steamer, carrot and cream cheese cupcake and triple cream cheese, red velvet and cheese cake then complimented with a baby foamy. All delicious. Dear Seattle Coffee Company Management and Owners, I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience at your Hout Bay location on 1472 Main Road, Chapmans Peak. As a loyal customer who frequents your establishment daily, I believe it is important to bring a few concerning matters to your attention, as these below and continued poor service over the past month or two have become your staffs way of providing service. Early Closing Time: One of the reasons I am drawn to your coffee shop is the advertised closing time of 6:00 PM. However, on my recent visit (this afternoon), I was disheartened to observe that your staff began the closing process as early as 4:30 PM. This early start to closing procedures not only disrupts the peaceful atmosphere but also affects customers who expect to enjoy their coffee and workspace until the stipulated closing time. Abrupt and Inconsiderate Treatment: At around 4:50 PM, the staff members on duty began packing chairs around my table, making it clear, albeit rather gruffly, that I needed to vacate the premises by 5:00 PM. This treatment was not only inconsiderate but also contrary to the advertised closing hours. As a regular patron, I was taken aback by the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by the staff. Impact on Customer Base and Revenue: My daily visits to your establishment may only amount to a minimum expenditure of R100 individually, but it is essential to consider the cumulative impact. If ten customers like myself are treated similarly, this represents an additional R30,000 in revenue for your business. This substantial figure, if realized, could contribute significantly to covering staff salaries and enhancing the quality of service provided. Diversion of Potential Clients: I was also alarmed to witness your staff actively diverting potential clients away from your store as early as 4:30 PM, directing them to the nearby Caltex location where you operate another store. I occasionally visit this Caltex store in the evenings and can attest to the superior service offered there. Whether these potential clients were retained or found their way to other coffee shops in the vicinity is a matter that should be scrutinized, as it could have a detrimental effect on your business. Due to these unfortunate incidents, I have decided to discontinue my patronage of your Chapmans Peak store. I believe that my daily destination for coffee will now be Deli Delish, where I have consistently experienced excellent service, thanks in part to the presence of attentive managers who ensure a pleasant customer experience. I sincerely hope that you take these concerns seriously and address them promptly to maintain the reputation and loyalty of your customers. Your coffee has always been excellent, and I would like to continue supporting your brand. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Coffee on the go. Ordered a cappcuino, latter, flat white and a chocolates milk. Was served byy olwethu. Quick and professional. Oayment is at the central counter . It is located insidethe mart. Seatings on the outside. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person R 100–150

We love this place but it's highly annoying that it's 634am and it's meant to be open at 630am according to google yet the staff told me they not opening till 7. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This is by far the Rudest person, behind the cash register, I have ever encountered…. Every single cyclists I know, club, group, organisation will come to hear about this INCREDIBLY RUDE individual… Did Seattle Coffee give him training or are they filling a space?????
