Stayed overnight in Phalaborwa, woke up early and drove around looking for a decent cup of coffee. No bean to cup or plastic coffee! Travelling with a coffee nut 😉, so we asked around.
Everyone said, “Seattle Coffee”.
Found it, stuck inside a garage convenience store with a pitstop cafe on the side. Little noisy (87dB 😬), but, will not be staying that long.
The coffee fundi 🙄 (got his own book btw) checked the two Anfim coffee grinders, clean and in good order (hoppers were not full of chaff). The La Marzocco GB machine, clean and well maintained by the resident Barista, “Doctor” is his name.
Most importantly, the steam wand was clean. If not, he would have walked out.
Well done Seattle Coffee and Doctor, not often that we give 5 stars for service, all considering that is.

It’s not often you find someone who is a artist at work. This is one of the best coffee’s I’ve had in a long time. The doctor is a professional. Great service. Reasonable price. Plenty parking.
Quick and easy. They offer sit down but the smell of oil from the deli next to it is horrible and seeps into your clothes. If you doing take away. Best coffee in town
Nice filling station with friendly staff and a Freshstop-convenience shop with Seattle coffee kiosk inside. Decent coffee here ☕!
I often stop here in the early morning to fill up, check my tyre pressure and get coffee & snacks before venturing into the Kruger National Park which is just 5 minutes drive away.
Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐
