Seabiscuit is permanently closing on 2024/03/14, so I moved it to the top of my to-visit list, especially since there are not many Aussie food places in Boston. It has a very nautical and private vibe and (thankfully) has its own parking lot. Service was fast and very friendly. - Beef Stew Pie ($14.50): Expensive for the size but delicious. The inside was all meat. Despite the name, it wasn't a stew in the sense that liquid spilled out when cut, so you could eat it by hand. The meat was tender and had a sweetness to it, which I liked because I was worried it would be too salty. The pie crust was nice and flaky. I probably should have tried this with ketchup, as is the tradition. - Lamington ($5.95): Larger than I expected. These are prepackaged and stored in the fridge. Eating it cold was refreshing. The inside was a dense sponge cake that I wish had been moister, but I enjoyed it overall. Coconut is the dominant flavor, so if you're not a fan of that, this is not the dessert for you. I ordered a number of pies and sausage rolls for a party I was hosting. I arrived several hours later than I had originally said I would be there to pick them up.
