About
The Sea Chest Oyster Bar in Cambria is a unique restaurant with a charming atmosphere and delicious seafood. The restaurant has been around for over 40 years, is family-run, and all of the employees have been there for a long time. As soon as you arrive, you'll be greeted by a long line of people waiting to get in - but it's well worth the wait. The food is fresh, delicious, and served in generous portions. The oysters are some of the freshest around, and the cioppino is a must-try. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the view of Moonstone Beach is stunning. Although they don't take reservations or credit cards, the Sea Chest is a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family.

Fantastic food and service. Great community vibe to meet the locals. Bring cash, arrive at 4pm, and dress warm. It's worth the wait to be seated. No reservations, credit cards, or complaining. Enjoy! Had an incredible anniversary dinner there a few weeks ago. Was our first time dining at this restaurant and it definitely lived up to the hype. We waited in line after getting there at 4:30pm and brought chairs/wine as people had suggested. We wound up second in line and made friends with a few of the folks we sat with. Once they let us in, their operation was extremely smooth and efficient. Service was fast and excellent. Ambiance was incredible. The table had a nice view of the water and the sunset. We loved the sourdough bread, the steamers appetizer, the calamari strips appetizer (highly recommend) and split the sea bass entree special. Their cocktail sauce was awesome. Everything was incredibly prepared and delicious. We ordered the chocolate mousse desert that was made by a local Cambria bakery which was also great. This is a charming Cambria gem that I look forward to making visits back to in the future. My favorite place, delicious food, wine 🍷 and great service. Of course the ocean view is the most beautiful, love to sit outside with my glass of wine and enjoy de sunset while we wait for our table. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Recommended dishes Andy's Cioppino
