Dropped a hundred bucks at Scranton Bawarchi, and man, it was totally worth it! The food was insanely good – flavors on point, spices just right. The whole vibe and the attentive staff made it feel like money well spent. Can't wait for a repeat!

Extremely disappointed after ordering 2 meals and some bread the total came to 60$ and when I got it there was nothing but hard soup bones in place of meat. 5$ for a Chai tea that came in a small Dixie cup. 17$ for paneer that was paste, If I can find a way to post pics I will. Will never spend money here again. The bread was good... but not paying 60$ for bread ever again

I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, authentic, and brought me back to the flavors of India. I highly recommend trying their “Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani” it was a standout! Will definitely be returning soon.

Finally an indian place who's food I can vouch for.
Being and Indian and a pretty good cook I don't like most Indian (Americanized) restaurant food. Bawarchi changes that. I taste the authentic flavor and spices and the food is so fresh. Prices are very reasonable.
I recommend this place more than any other Indian restaurant that I've eaten at in north east PA

Masala Dosa
Well I tried this restaurant the first week when they opened. To be honest it was pretty bad. Then tried after couple of months once they settled in, they have improved. But it is still hit or miss. They are not consistent with the taste of food. We have tried different things, but would recommend, egg puffs they make it to order and will be fresh. The Indian version of pizza (chicken tikka) is pretty decent option to try.

I ordered a goat biriyani on Feb 19, 2024 for dinner and it tasted horrible. No flavor and it was too oily. I think the chef just thought " let me just add some masala to cooked with meat n rice" and call it a biriyani and charge $18 for it. I can cook make better biriyani even on my worst days. What a disappointment this place was.

I hate doing this but i was sooo disappointed with my door dash order last night, ive never had such bland indian food. And to top it off, my daughter ordered pizza with my order and it had a chunk of hard metal in it and she hurt her tooth! I had medium chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The chicken dish was just flavorless, definitely not "medium", and the garlic naan was poorly seasoned, i had to put my own salt on it to taste the garlic and it was the thinnest naan ive ever had. I paid wayy more for my order than what its worth. Wont be ordering it again
