I wish I had a place like this near me. Wonderful beers, a great selection of bourbon, and the food was excellent. It's also just an absolutely beautiful venue (the decor is so cool - you gotta check out the paint can art in the side room - it's brilliant!). We could have hung out here all weekend, and there's a game room upstairs too! We loved it! Great selection of beer and single barrel bourbon. The lady that was our server was super friendly and fun to joke with. We all split a Tachos appetizer and then had the chicken sandwich which was very tasty. We may go back again tonight as the server said their cheeseburger is amazing as well. We had a blast here! It was recommended by a friend, and when we checked it out it definitely met our expectations. Service was great and there’s bar seating, dining seating, and an upstairs lounge area where they also host bingo nights! The food was really good, we weren’t too hungry so we stick with starters. We’ll be back! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We are visiting from Georgia and had planned on visiting Talbot Tavern for dinner. We met several locals that STRONGLY suggested we not go there (said the service is poor especially to tourists and the food is just ok) but to try Scout & Scholar. We are so glad we did!! First of all, our waitress Tiffany was absolutely wonderful! She guided us through every decision made. We got the Tatchos, Bangers & Mash, and gluten free Steak Smash Burger. I also had the sour beer flight - Peach within Reach is so good! Food was wonderful and the atmosphere was great! We hope to visit again Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Smash Burger

Great brewery in Downtown Bardstown. They have a large selection of beer along with food. We only tried a pretzel, but it was really good! The outside patio area is a great space, and they were setting up for live music the Saturday evening we were there. There is not a dedicated parking lot, but we had no problem finding parking nearby. The beers are amazing 🤩. Get the sampler! They have a good bourbon list too. Also tried the fried pickled basket with fried jalapeno, sweet peppers, onions and pickles-so good! Outdoor seating too Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This place had a really cool vibe. Modern and chic yet comfortable and familiar. My family and I ate here on a Thursday late afternoon/early dinner. I highly recommend the queso and chips. One person in our party had the pretzel and he said it was probably one of the best pretzels he’s ever eaten, and he said that the pretzel mustard was really good. I prefer the beer cheese. Two of us in our party had the smash burgers and they were what you would expect. I wish I would’ve asked for lettuce on mine. The draft menu was extensive and had it not been for the fact that we were going to still have a haul to get home, we would’ve definitely enjoyed trying some of the items they had on tap. The outside patio looks really cool and on a crisp summer night, I think this would be the place to hang out in Bardstown. The staff was very friendly and our service was good. We came in today for a late lunch. We were seated promptly with super friendly staff helping us. The food came out really fast, which was great because we were whiskey hungry from our tours! My husband had the smash burger, and I had the salad with grilled chicken. We shared the fried pickle app and it was really yummy:) The fries were really good too, perfectly hot and crunchy! The watermelon cocktail was Awesome 👌! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our experience at Scout & Scholar was fantastic. Our waiter did a phenomenal job and always checked to make sure we were good. We both also really enjoyed our food. The beer was fantastic. I got to try a flight of all five of their sour beers, and they were delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! They also have a gluten free menu for those that need it. This is a busy place, especially on the weekends, but if you can get a table you’ll be happy you did. I got a flight of their beers, two of their “Scouts” (the more inventive, unusual brews), and two of the “Scholars” (made with tried and true brewing methods), and they were all delicious in their own way. Their beer menu is extensive, and they only offer in-house or collaboration-brewed beers (no Bud on tap or anything like that). The food was pretty delicious, although I personally found some of it over-salted. I recommend the brunch — they have some really fun options. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We ate outside on their patio, and it was a pleasant atmosphere. This place is definitely worth a visit. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30
