Food was delicious, very well seasoned and cooked. Service is impeccable and quick. They have a nice kids menu. The place is charming inside and you can walk around it to see the view after your meal. A vallet parking is available just 2 minutes walk away. Simply remarkable! We booked our reservation for 8pm not knowing the restaurant closed at 8pm. My wife and typically don’t show up minutes before close out of respect to the staff. We decided to wing it because we were on vacation. From the moment we stepped through the door we were met with the most welcoming environment. You could tell the night was dying down but the whole staff went out of their way to give my wife and I an unforgettable experience. We started with the baked oysters and calm chowder. Oysters were in almost a chipotle sauce very good if you might be searching for something different. The star came next, when we original arrived the waiter told us there was only 1/2 Dungeness crab left. Hearing that will always tell me it’s a must try and it didn’t disappoint. Not only a very fair price point but the preparation of the crab was flawless. MUST MUST MUST TRY THE CRAB!!!! For the main courses we had the Cioppino - the seafood was fresh and the perfect bread was served with the dish. We also had the Lobster Risotto good not great but the portion size was solid to the price point. To finish the meal we had another must try. The Tres Leches cake! Just a spot on dish after a long meal. Light yet extremely refreshing and had a nice cinnamon finish. What I know for a $200 price point it’s is 10,000% worth the 30 minute drive from SF. The food, the service, and the views are easily worth double that. Not sure when we will be back but if Scoma is still in business we will definitely be back! The food here was terrific, booking was easy and convenient online and service was awesome. However, there is no parking available. We ordered oysters and they were full of flavor, the mushroom temporal which exploded with flavor and was Nicole's complimented with the sauce. The clams were also succulent and we asked for more bread to soak up the sauce because it was so good. We ordered the seabass (the days spial) and it was tender and cooked to perfection, topped with an herb butter and was in a sauce that was extremely savory and complimented with mushrooms, vegetables and mussels. While most people seem to compliment the clan chowder, I personally found it bland but I enjoyed that there was good amount of clam in chowder and it was chopped in large chunks. We finished our date with the seven layer cake, and it certainly didn't disappoint: it was perfectly moist, not too sweet and truly had seven layers of flavor. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A getaway from San Francisco, and similar to Sotto Mare, this place was so excellent location for dinner, quality, taste, and service. One of the favorite italian places, I was taken here for my birthday and the service was amazing! The views were amazing and the food was fresh and delicious. Loved this dinner! Loved this place and their service was superb. We went there to celebrate a milestone birthday. We sat outside with our dog under the warm Sausalito sun and by the ocean. The wines were good. I loved the clam chowder soup and I had the Cashew Cod,while my husband had the Halibut. Both dishes were delicious and well presented. We ended with a Tres Leches and a bag full of lovely memories at this classic Sausalito institution. We are definitely going back.
