When was introduced to this shop. I kind a skeptical toward the food quality. But after visiting it I must say it is a very authentic Thai food restaurant hidden in ampang. Since didn't come with big crowd I order those signature food rather than common Tom yam. The fried pork knuckle is a must order. Even though is big. It is nicely seasoned, and roasted to the best texture it has. Definitely won't regret if you like roasted pork I also order pandan chicken which is very deep fried even the pandan leaf become crunchy. The paku vege with sambal is also a good order if you like paku. Though Abit salty, it is good pair with seafood fried rice which is Abit bland. Overall I must recommend this to every Thai food lover. Will definitely come back for their Tom yam and remaining signature dish. Authentic Thai restaurant hidden inside the Thai Mini Mart. Tomyam was flavourful and prawns were fresh. Pork satay and papaya salad was pretty good too. What surprised me that they have rubby red dessert with lots of ingredients and fragrant santan. The price is reasonable and the portion is not big, can order more type of dishes for sharing. Parking is quite a headache as the shop was located alongside a busy street. However this place is worth to visit. Quirky shop layout, the front portion is a sundry shop selling Thai products n back is the dining area. I tried some not so common dishes, fern leave fried egg, pork rib tomyum, fried Sabah vegetable and pineapple fried rice. Not sure how authentic but definitely refreshing compared to other Thai standard fare. The egg have a slight green lingering taste. Tomyum was just right for me with the right balance of sour and spiceness. The veggies were fresh n chewy. Rice was full of wok hei and flavourful. The green tint lighting does not do justice to their food presentation 😁 Seating is limited and you need a reservation if a big group on the weekend.

Came in during peak dinner hours, so we ordered individual dishes, i.e. pineapple fried rice and pad Thai. Surprisingly our dishes came very fast. Love their pad Thai, pineapple fried rice was a bit sweet. Overall food not bad. Last time I ordered their typical Thai dishes - tomyam, somtam, etc. also very delicious. Might be a long wait during peak hours if you order dishes though. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
The exterior looks like a mini market but there's a restaurant inside the mini market which is something unique. Their food taste is very authentic and all the staff are originally from Thailand. You can get the Thai vibe here when you enter the shop. Definitely a hidden gem in this area to try out Thai Foods! This is a hidden gem in Ampang . Introduced by a colleague and I am a huge fan of Thai cuisine. The restaurant is located in the interior of an inconspicuous sundry mart shop selling authentic Thai snacks and articles. Parking is limited and the road is narrow. If you are early you can park on available yellow boxes before the Petronas gas station on the right. If you come between 6-7pm , you might have to look at parking on the other side of the shop houses which are also rather limited and have to bear with a minor traffic when parents pick up their children after school. Service was good nothing to mention here. Dishes was great . We had lemongrass tea, lemon fish, fried gizzard, seafood tom yum, fried morning glory leaves aka kangkung, and seafood mung bean glass noodle salad. Delicious! A small, no fuss eatery serving authentic Thai food. The wait for the food was super long so be prepared to wait. Cost was alright, 'cheaper' than Jimmy and Nong but portions are much smaller so I guess if you order more cost would come up to be the same. There were three of us and we ordered a seafood fried rice, fish sauce fried chicken, four heavenly kings, and moo ping. I also had the red ruby dessert but it was tad too sweet for me. Bill came up to be around RM76+. 2nd visit Came here again and ordered some different dishes to try. This time we had the tomyam seafood soup, pandan chicken, salt and pepper squid, belacan kangkung, and two carb dishes - fried rice and fried glass noodles. Totally over ordered yes, cos we were greedy. Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Thal St Le Pork Satay

Recommended by a friend and found the Thai food here quite authentic and the price is fair. The front portion is a Thai product convenient store. This restaurant open every day and one on a Monday every two weeks. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
