Found some flies inside. Whenever I miss my traditional food I go to these restaurant or in ruwi branch. There kitchen shows everything inside but there refrigerators are closed with saravana bhavan logo stickers why??? Can anyone justify this bill for me. OMR 1.050 for a small filter coffee, how is that possible. The food quality going down and down and the price up and up for no reason. I saw someone’s comment where he said the price of coffee was 500 and it is 800 now, and now it is 1.050. Such a nuisance when it comes to cost. Food - awesome. It reminded me of my days from 1999-2000 in Chennai when I used to enjoy the Veg thali meals as much as I did tonight. Just couldn't stop myself. Service- exceptional. Didn't realize even for a minute that staff was not attentive. Before even I could think of something one of the staff was around me asking if I need anything. Atmosphere- awesome lounge music mixed with South Indian classical instrumental music. To add cherry on top of the cake... I finished my meals woth South Indian style filtered coffee... Don't believe me... well... try it yourself. This is an Indian vegetarian restaurant which makes a very good impression and judging from the number of its customers is very popular. The food is amazing, and the staff is also really friendly. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. I have had long masala dosa and I have enjoyed every single bit of the meal. The food was very rich in taste. Considering the quality of the food served in this restaurant, the prices are more than reasonable. Highly recommend Saravan Bhavan Restaurant located in Al Khuwayr South. I visited them for first time today. The place is big and the ambience was good too. I ordered ghee masala dosa and tea. The staff who took my order was nice to me and my dosa arrived fast. That dosa was one huge dosa and it had three chutneys and a sambar. All were great and I loved it. My stomach was full. Negatives were the less amount of meshed potatoes inside the Dosa and tea was bad, too sweet and it cost 500 baisa not worth it. One more thing I had to wait long to pay my bill as the cashier wasn't there. Overall good experience.

After we finished practice yoga and then we went to had breakfast together. It is very nice vegetarian food .

Without a shadow bou doubt, it has to be one of the best places to have the south indian breakfast. I've enjoyed eating their small idly, their Molgapodi masala dosa. In the end, the filter coffee was fantastic Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

Good ambience and tasty food. Well behaved servers. Good choice of food varieties. Having said that, compared with, let's say Annapoorna, another veg restaurant in Muscat, the prices are a bit too steep (500 baisa for a tea, for example, that tastes quite ordinary). Taking one star off on that.

Worst hotel I have seen in this country . The uncultered servers are misbehaving with customers and the hotel mangement is in support of their servers only. Not fit for decent people to take food at this hotel. They are treating the customers as such they are the commanders and donating the food to Beggars and not like a Business House collecting money for their every service. Poor service and ILLTREATMENT to the Guests. Untrained Servers illtreating the Guests, unfit Restaurant. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
