Hi, everyone! Tonight, my friends and I went to Sao's and the food was really good! We waited a bit longer for our food but the manager was really nice and the food was worth waiting for. The catfish was amazing and the sweet potatoes that I got were yummy. We spent about 30 dollars for three of us and we got a lot of food. All of the staff were friendly too. I loved the lights in the waiting area and the music station. I only gave a four for atmosphere because they need to put a few things in the lobby to do while you wait. Maybe darts or a TV or an air hockey table. I would suggest that they get possibly a small fridge to put bottles or cans of soda in too. They literally just opened about a week ago though so they still are working out kinks. Overall, I loved my experience there and I definitely would order from there again. :) Please be sure to visit them!

I have been following Saos on Facebook since they planned on opening and let me tell you, if you aren’t eating here you’re missing out. I have only tried a select few items on the menu but I can only imagine how good everything else tastes. I ordered delivery at 12:30 at night and received my FRESH food very quickly. I even took the time to ask my deli every driver how their customer service was and he said it was phenomenal. Trust me when i say this place is a MUST TRY for everyone in the Bloomington-Normal area!

This is a carry out or delivery spot. Call ahead to place your order. The waiting area for food has some games and Sao’s got the music bumping. We played connect four while we waiting for our order. Food is delicious! I got wings with the Henny sauce, fries and mac and cheese. My friend got the chopped cheese, cabbage and hush puppies and her food was also amazing! It was all so flavorful. Sao came out and talked to us about plans for the building and it sounds like she’s got big plans for Sao’s late night eatery. What an awesome woman! There is a parking lot and the entrance is on the side of the building. They weren’t serving any drink options to go so just make sure you have a beverage option at home. I will definitely order from Sao’s again!

What can I say, it's the best food in Bloomington!!! She knows how to cook, stays open late, and fast with it. The amount of food you get for your money is insane. I've always had some leftovers for the next day. Your money will not be wasted with this amazing woman!!!

The vegan Sao Boy and the What's Beef Burger are very tasty! This is a carryout or delivery restaurant. The owner is amazingly accommodating and responds to messages in a timely manner. #support local #small business # minority owned.

Went to Sao's tonight for the first time and it was PHENOMENAL. Go try their vegan menu!!! Even non-plant based folks will be thrilled. Burger was the best I've had in years 🤯 Thank you so much Sao's!!

Incredible food. Got the 15 wings and fries special on a thursday and a burger for about 20 bucks.
The burger was something else and the owner/ front person let us try the henny wing sauce before we ordered.
Keep in mind if you don't order ahead there will be a wait but the food was fresh and fairly priced.
There is no "dine in"area but we ordered there and waited about 10-15 minutes.
Definitely ordering again for my late night hungries.
