We normally visit a few times a month. Drinks are great. Food is not blow your socks off good, but is always consistently good. Edit: 1/25/24. Very pleased tonight. Ordered pastor tacos and they were great. Update 2/26. We stopped in and I tried the pastor street tacos, and they were awesome and gave me plenty of food. Good was pretty good. I had the Carne guisada and my girl had the Chimichanga. They had good up beat Latin music playing. Food came out very fast. This place was very clean. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

It was my first time in. I met some friends on a Friday night. The place was packed at 6:30. Rather than wait 20 minutes for a table inside, we sat outside. I had a coconut margarita and the cheese chile rellenos. Both were on par! I suppose since we were outside the wait staff didn't check up on us as much as if we were inside and not while we were eating our meal (glad we didn't need anything at that time). Overall, I would recommend San Lorenzo restaurant. The only downside sitting outside was that at another table someone was smoking cigarettes (felt like I was back in 1995!) The food is pretty good. I give them 4 stars because both their salsa and green sauce is too hot for my kids to eat and they love salsa. Service in the restaurant is fantastic but I gave them 4 stars because if you pick up an order it’s hit or miss if you actually get what you ordered. The atmosphere is great. Tried this place on a whim...glad we did. Even though it was a Saturday night, we were seated within about 10-15 minutes. The staff was friendly and the service was pretty fast. Once seated, drink order was taken almost immediately and showed up within minutes. We ordered the shrimp cocktail which was around $10 and was big enough for two people. Entries showed up piping hot and we enjoyed it very much. If you want a reasonably priced meal this place is the way to go. Three beers, one margarita, appetizer and two entries was $65 including the tip. Definitely worth a try and I hear that breakfast there is good too. Thanks and keep up the good work. This is my usual spot for lunch but lately the service has gone bad. Host take for ever to sit you and servers don't pay attention to the order. No thank you or any words from the front cashier when I paid. Waiters are distracted, one waiter comes takes the order then another comes and takes the order again.Not sure what's going on but this was not the type of service I've received in the past here. We come here whenever we visit with our family. We drive from Mesa AZ and were introduced to San Lorenzo when our daughter's family moved to TX. They serve flavorful food in a typical Mexican style. The service is impeccable and the staff is friendly. We enjoy it every time. The food was okay. My companion and I ordered fajitas for two. What you see in the pics is what you get, outside of the cheese. The server did not tell us that cheese was an extra charge. Add $1.50 for each serving of cheese. The restaurant wasn't loud although it was a busy place. The food wasn't bad; it was just typical. We didn't find the service all that great. Our server seemed like he had better things to do. We had to ask for our refill of unsweetened tea. The greeters liked looking at their phones rather than properly greeting their patrons. We didn't really see the value for what we received. This restaurant just didn't do it for us.

Probably the best tasting Mexican rice I ever had. The tacos are nothing but grilled chicken. No cilantro no onions no tomato just chicken in the beans were very tasteless however I had fantastic service and it was quick even though it was very busy finding parking was difficult
