Driving through, I'm staying in the area. We chose this place because it was pretty close. Let's Cut to the chase. Walked in and sat in booth seats which were seemingly broken almost sunk down to the floor. We started off with a couple of margaritas which were barely decent. The waiter was nice and attentive but honestly he should have noticed the slop we were given. After receiving the order we decided not to risk our lives. Cheese quesadilla came out cold, greasy looking and uncooked. Not to mention a tiny portion. Did I say cold? I mean the shredded cheese looked refrigerated. Flashes of hanging out by the toilet all night flashed in front of my eyes. The Chipotle Chicken salad came out looking overcooked in a small over fried tortilla shell with meat spilling out everywhere. Sort of like dog food in a bowl. Presentation was lacking. We lost our appetite, pulled ourselves off the broken cushioned seating, paid the bill and alerted the waiter about the terrible food, we paid for it and left, I know , I know we should have made a stink but we were hungry it was late in this town and we needed to get something edible in a hurry. This is one of my favorite restaurants for Mexican food and drinks. I had the shrimp and scallop fajita with beans, rice, pico, cheese, and sour cream. It comes with 3 warm tortillas. I had the street corn, and I had a peach margarita. All of it was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. The meal was very good, I went at the wrong time though. The were so busy it was unreal. Understandably though the food was fantastic. The service was good, but really slow because of how busy they were. I say at the bar but they had no 1 person doing it people flew in and out of the bar so quickly it was difficult to get their attention. My server was very good just overwhelmed with the pace. All of them were psychically running. By the time I left the rush was over. Wish I had gone later. As a Mexican, I was really disappointed with the food quality here. Definitely not authentic, but their pork belly taco was pretty good. Their beans tasted full of fat and pork. Very americanized/ tex-mex flavors. I won't be back. My server was excellent. We stayed one night in the area and this place didn't have a wait like the restaurants close to it. The food was good but service was sub par. Waited forever for someone to great us and even longer for drinks to arrive. The server pretty much ignored us. Never checked how the good was etc. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Incredible food. My husband said best tamale he’s ever had. We ordered take out and it was still SO good and hot even in our hotel room. Picture doesn’t do it justice but one of the best Arroz con Pollo I’ve ever had. Food: 5 Service: 5

This place in incredible! the food was amazing, I had pork belly tacos and they were the best tacos I have ever had. the large bowl of guacamole was incredible, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

What an amazing experience! The margaritas were great and our meals were amazing. This was far overshadowed by the server and managers attention. I had a small personal issue with my meal as they were walking by, and they both immediately stopped in their tracks to offer assistance or to make me a new meal. It was not needed and I was fine, but they both checked back twice more to be sure I was happy and satisfied with my meal. If I lived in the area, I would definitely frequent this establishment. Left civic center for dinner and manager wouldn't let kids sit together and split the bill with parents paying so we moved to a table together which was cramped but we were hungry.
