If you’re looking for a humble small town sandwich shop that’ll knock your boots off as you travel hwy 1 then this is the place to be!!! Amazing indoor and outdoor atmosphere and quality ingredients that are prepared daily. I was recommended this place by a friend who grew up here and his recommendation did not disappoint. The pastrami is to die for and induces a hallucinogenic effect as I was brought back to the cured meats I grew up on in the southern US.

Reviewing the downstairs deli - not the hotel (never stayed there). Their soups and sandwiches are excellent. The bread is absolutely delicious, our favorite is walnut and olive but we like all of them. Sandwiches are fresh and healthy. Two different soups every weekend, we have tried a lot, great variety and taste like home made. Very competitive prices especially for the zip code. Appreciate earth friendly 100% compostable take out packaging including utensils. Highly recommend this place, hubby and I keep coming back every weekend. Thank you!
We went to the deli. It is a small place, but their sandwiches are fantastic! I got the ham and salami with jack cheese on French bread and the potato salad. I was not expecting the French bread to be like sliced bread, but it was even better. The potato salad was simple but tasty. We will definitely new back.
This is a beautiful place I've been coming here to get sandwiches since I was the child they also make fresh bread You have to get there early enough to get it it sells out fast all their sandwich breads are freshly baked everything is gathered the produce is from local farms if you're in the Bay area or in the coast stop and try this place.
Best bread in town, best sandwiches in town. A must-do stop if you’re in HMB. Prices have gone up (now close to $12 after tax for a sandwich) but worth every penny. The line might be out the door, but it’s worth the wait. Note: the line for the deli is separate than the line for the bar/restaurant (and is much better:)
