We have eaten at a good number of diners over the years, but this unassuming place in a Harleysville strip center is the winner. Good diners have great coffee and great home fries… Sammy’s has both! They have incredible spins on breakfast staples. Definitely worth the trip even if you live 15 miles away. Our second trip, we will be back!

You say your a hearty eater and most places dont serve you enough? Well here is the place for you! Large portions and a menu for everyone! Great coffee, ground specially for them and you can buy a bag of these beans to go. Servers were great and attentive. Will be back soon. Lorenzo approved!
We took a girls trip to bear creek and found this absolute gem on our way home. This place is so good! You will dream about it after you leave! I got a cauliflower skillet which was killer. One friend got the broccoli cheddar chicken croquettes which were a special and O.M.G. WOW. The mashed potatoes were probably the best part. Other friend had the cider brined turkey melt which looked so fresh and amazing. She loved it. It was so good that I ordered a short rib grinder to go for my boyfriend. We live an hour away and even after an hour drive, he said that sandwich was amazing. We are already planning to come back (from an hour away lol) Our waitress was so sweet and the atmosphere is cute and hometown. All the coffee mugs and dishes are unique. You feel like you're eating at home. So worth a trip!

What a great restaurant - at least for breakfast!! My first visit and at 8:45am on a Tuesday , seated immediately.
The waitress was super and genuinely friendly which always starts things out well.
Delicious coffee! Prices are a little high for breakfast. I dropped a $20. Just for me , but the meal was thoroughly enjoyable.
I could not believe how fast it came and the flavors were spot on!
Coffee was $3.00 but my cup was filled often and without asking.
I had the breakfast croquettes which were delicious but maybe a little ‘busy’😉. They were covered in a creamed dried beef made well , and not a ‘typical’ croquette shape.
I will return. They had a nice assortment of interesting menu items, so I want to try lunch!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Most importantly the food is amazing. Large portions and high quality ingredients with some interesting menu options. The service is extremely fast and always friendly. Best breakfast/lunch spot in Harleysville by a mile. It does get busy during peak lunch hour. Come by, you won’t regret it.

Menu had a lot of different options geared towards those who are healthy conscious and those who aren’t.
I ordered the Smoked Salmon Toast and it was so fresh and delicious!!!!
The place is very small. It does have a breakfast bar if you don’t want to wait for a table.
Location is easy but it is hidden right off the main road of Sumneytown Pike. It’s in a tiny strip mall of maybe 3-4 businesses.
Decor is homey feel with simple seating.
Menu like I said is great.
Prices are great for what you receive.
Staff is friendly.
Service was quick.
Cleanliness was good.
FYI you have to get there very early or you’ll be waiting awhile also they close at 12 noon!!
Overall we enjoyed our breakfast and we’ll definitely be back!!

Our first visit to Sammy's Bullfrog Cafe. Besides the wait for a table, some slightly mediocre service, and VERY high prices (especially for breakfast!). All the food was very delicious, and had some very unique creations! 👌 Because of the previously mentioned reasons, this would be more of a special occasion place to visit and not a regular (unless you've got tons of cash coming in). Let me again mention how good the food is. A few weeks and this place would be a perfect breakfast spot! 😋

Amazing lunch and breakfast location. Very interesting menu with great twists on classics and more modern staples. Great, fast service, fantastic specials and seasonal menu. Never disappointing except for when there is a wait!
Definitely worth the wait! Really large menu full of cool takes on classic meals with rotating specials. The food tasted amazing and came out really quick as well. Nice atmosphere with super friendly staff.
