Very good restaurant in the centre of Samarkand. Ground floor can be noisy because there is a dj and the dance floor so, if you want a more quiet dinner where you can talk with your friends I suggest to get a table on the upper floor. Staff is always present and very professional. Should improve a bit their skill in English though. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Spacious restaurant offering two levels plus private rooms. The extensive menu would definitely satisfy any taste buds. The service is very accommodating and attentive, which makes the whole experience even more comfortable and relaxed. Overall, we had a great time, and loved every dish we ordered. An experience, but not necessarily for the food. This is as Uzbek as can be, and as such recommended for once. The meat is not for everyone, and the olive can finish early. I recommend the Russian room (second floor), as the one below will likely be very noisy. I can’t really recommend a dish, I would come for the cultural value.

The snacks and main food are good, staff act as it should be. But the atmosphere, i just couldnt like it. Top much noise, too crowded for me. Contantly playing happy birthday songs etc. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

If you are in Samarkand, you must dine there! I am in my seventeen and had my best Kabob of my life! Very tasteful and tender! Service great! What I did miss, traditional music! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

A nice place to visit in Samarkand, not too far away from the city center. It is a very huge restaurant - when we were there, there was a party downstairs and the restaurant was available only upstairs. Even though there were a lot of guests and all tables were booked, the staff was professional, fast and food was delivered quickly. Food was nice and tasty, the only problem was that the meat dumplings were undercooked and we felt a bit sick afterwards… Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A huge and very noisy restaurant. You need to order separate room if you want to talk. But even in separate room the noise will be high. Food good, service good. The problem can be with toilet. for such a large number of visitors, there are only a couple of “holes”, so you may have to wait in a long line. Be ready for that, don't go too late :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Samarkand Restaurant is a among the popular restaurants in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The food is decent and authentic, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. They could improve by having few waiters who understand english and are able to explain the dishes considering its visited by tourists. Gigantic place, yet tried to get in twice as it was full the first time. I love the party going on the ground floor and yet there are floors where you can also have conversation over dinner. Service is remarkable as although only one seemed to speak english all of the staff are always around to make sure you got what you need. I enjoyed celebrating my birthday here, i love my ironman-and-the-hulk inspired cake, i dont know why it was like that but i like it just the same.
