Cool place! We weren't staying at the hotel; just came down to enjoy a date night. The burger was excellent (definitely smaller than the advertised half pound though, which I was worried would be too much anyway), as was the fried mushroom sandwich. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

We came out for Valentines Day dinner. We waited 10 minutes at the door before being told to seat ourselves. At 7:30pm we were informed that they’d run out of all entrees except the salmon. The service was delayed and inept. The food that we did receive was good. But I will not be returning. The entire experience was disappointing. It’s clear that the business owner and staff are not educated on the dynamics of running a restaurant. Made an attempt to try Salt+Ko on Valentine’s evening. I called early afternoon was told they dont accept reservations for parties of 5 and more however I was welcome to walk in. My friend and I arrive at approximately 8:00. The restaurant is busy but not extremely. We are not greeted at all. We see a young lady that appears to be a waitress or maybe manager, we ask is it ok to seat ourselves? She responds yes.. “however we are short staffed so please be patient” My friend and I say absolutely and proceed to seat ourselves. We sit for 40MINUTES with no acknowledgement of any kind not even water. We are still patiently waiting. My friend happens to get up to walk to the bar and the young lady that asked us to have a seat and be patient says “oh the kitchen just closed they just told me”. As much as we wanted to patronize this business unfortunately we will not. This was completely unacceptable. We were completely understanding of them being understaffed and were willing to wait and to be told the kitchen just closed. Awful! Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Service: 1

Service is terrible. I would definitely say understaffed. Didn’t even have any food (no lamb chops or steak. Only salmon) mind you it was only 7:30pm and I waited for a server for over 30 minutes.
