We had some miscommunication over the phone twice, but it's delicious food it almost makes up for the communication issues. However, the food was delicious even if my order was slightly off and I would go back again. My order is not one they offer on the menu.
I believe that's why we struggle on occasion.
I would love to see a California burrito without rice and make the fries a substitute.
They have an adorable outside eating area with music. Wheelchair friendly.

Birria was just okay. The consommé was super greasy tasting and that’s it, just grease. The birria had little to no taste but was very moist.

I hate to complain but I was just there to order just chips and salsa and a Jamaica. My total was just under $13. I understand that most business struggle these days but I was always under the impression that “chips and salsa” were an automatic duo and one price. Charging for these individually was not what I expected. I was shocked at my total and paid it but definitely won’t be doing that again.

The "pre-corona" pricing they seem to have is amazing and unheard of nowadays. The food is delicious and portion sizes are large. Salsas is the only Mexican restaurant in west Michigan I'll be going to for quite a while. Can you tell I love it! :D

Was definitely a hidden Treasure ‼️We are not from Battle Creek and actually were going to eat somewhere else, but when we arrived, it was closed. So we goggled Mexican restaurants we just picked one. And were very happy we picked this one ‼️‼️ We were greeted by friendly staff as soon as we entered. Our server was Amazing. Very attentive and sweet. Food was off the hook. Cute atmosphere. We will definitely make the drive to return regularly ‼️Definitely recommend.

Cheesecake Chimi
First time at Salsas today and it was AMAZING! Great portion size for the money I spent! I ordered the Burrito Guesave and I was NOT disappointed! Was indeed as big as my head, had soooo much meat inside and the White Cheese and red sauce was really really good! Also you get chips and salsa with your meal is awesome 👌 very well done will be returning very soon!

First time there and got take out. Got a Chalupa and a Chili Poblano. Both were excellent in flavor and portion. They exceeded expectations. Will definitely be back.

The portions in this restaurant are huge! My boyfriend and I can easily split a sandwich or a burrito and we are both healthy eaters. The prices are really good for the amount of food that you get. Lots of beef in the burrito, they don't skimp on any of the ingredients. Guacamole was freshly made and chunky.

Burrito Monterey
Very good food, and the portions are generous. It was nice and quiet but people were chatting, very sweet staff, and a very attentive chef as well. We seen a great review for it on fb and I had to show my husband, he was so excited he was sad they weren't open at 730am lol. He was very happy with his burrito and I didn't hear much out of him lol. It's very yummy and everyone is so nice and it was very clean from what I saw while I was there. You'll enjoy it
