We had been on the beach all day and decided to grab a bite to eat. We chose this restaurant. It has a great terrace overlooking the ocean. From the terrace you can watch surfers catching waves. Although the waitress didn't speak perfect English, she understood everything and brought me a dish without a product to which I have a food allergy. A large plate of Paella cost about $40, but I assure you, it's enough for two people. We also ordered drinks and breaded seafood. Our check with tip was about $90 for two. The dishes was very tasty! I can recommend this place❤️

Beautiful spot right on the water for all occasions. Great date spot!
Sizeable menu and fantastic drinks. The steak was perfect and the crab creole was phenomenal, would highly recommend.
Heads up though if you're sitting outside in the evening, the sand gnats may tear you up if you've got shorts/skirt on. I wore long pants so I was fine but my party came home covered in those little red bites.

Let me start by saying food is really good , we are giving them 4 stars only because we wait over an hour for the food. The view is amazing, you have are right there at the beach and looking at the lighthouse. They need to expand the withe wine list.

Based on my last experience I would not recommend to eat red meat, only Seafood. I ordered the NY Sirloin and it had a very large tendon in the middle making it very hard to chew. When our dishes arrived, we weren't offered water and I had already drank my Piña Colada. I raised my hand to a young waitress from another table and told her to please bring me some water. And she asked what kind, and I said any kind because I was having trouble with my meal. It took a while, but by that time I could no longer eat the meat. It was too hard. I raised my hand at least 3 times, many waitresses were there but no one came by. I finally got up from the table, went to the counter and the girl that was there stooped down. I was ignored. Even though they could see I was calling their attention, no one came. I was very displeased. I will have to change my rating from 5 to 3 and I'm being gracious. ******* Previous Experience *******Salitre is excellent. Very easy to get to. Ample parking. It's right on the coast, Atlantic ocean view. The dining experience is amazing. The food is delicious. Excellent wine selection. Fully recommend.

The coconut shrimp with white rice and beans and the fried breadfruit tostones were really good. Our waitress she was excellent, and the view of the ocean is breath taking. I recommend this restaurant for a romantic evening with a special someone or a family gathering.

The food here was so fresh and delicious. Huge shout out to our waitress, Vanessa, for going above and beyond with her service. We wanted to order the red snapper and she brought out all the fresh fish on a tray so that we could select the size we wanted (since it’s charged per lb). The fish were very fresh based on their eyes. The deep fried snapper was moist and naturally sweet, it was wonderfully cooked. The breadfruit tostones were also very good.
Their piña colada was refreshing. Feeling the ocean breeze was a huge plus.

Beans were extremely salty.
Skirt steak was unseasoned and they offered no A1 sauce.
Coconut shrimp saved the day.
View was spectacular. Staff very friendly.

This restaurant is one of our favorite spots. The food is absolutely delicious and the setting is romantic and also laid back. The service is always exceptional! I highly recommend it especially if you love seafood. The view is really breathtaking especially just before the sun sets.
