This restaurant is ok for a quick stop or lunch. There is a covered terrace accros 👍 good if you are group up to 4 people as the sitting is too tight for 5. Great choice of food and drinks. Staff is efficient and quick but that's about it. They could be a bit more kind, smile more and be welcoming to customers. I'm sure they will have higher tips. If there would be a quiet music in the background i would not mind. Prices are adequate for 2022

Very traditional sheppards house style restaurant. Stylish from the very first moment when open car door (sheep nearby), through entering cottage, not ending at digging into very tasty food. Applause for contracted brewery Bakalar. This is a place to stop on during hiking, biking, spending good time with family, friends, coleagues, visits from abroad. And most all ... throughout the four seasons of the year. Just improve kids outdoor equipment. Maybe a minifarm?... Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Good place. It is a bit of the road but still easy to reach. Good for family lunch even with small kids. Staff was absolutely nice and enjoyed our kids jumping around. Food was tasty and portions were fairly big. No issues ordering special items for kids. Even we have visited off season when the dairy products are not from their own production all was tasty. There is no internet and no cell phone reception so good for you to simply enjoy the time off grid. That is also why only cash payment is accepted. Prices are a bit higher the i would expect for this region. Enjoy it highly recommend.

Very good local food on a sheep farm (salaš). Hidden in a valley close to Puchov city. Visit recommended.

Perfect traditional food, nice service, mid-level prices, traditional Slovak cottage style environment. Very good experience worth that mildly unpleasant journey there, Via damaged backroads.

Had the best food and also the best service buy this young Lady who was so helpful and professional. Thank you. I was the with my Slovakian friends 2nd October for lunch. 🙏

Road to here was quite beaten up and could use some maintenance. The food however was a nice surprise. Very tasty and quickly prepared which is not very common for Slovak restaurants. The service was beautiful, nice and very fast although the place was full. I certainly do recommend!

Salas serves traditional slovak couisine. The taste was above the standard, but not extraordinary. Negatives are the road to the Salas and the fact you can pay by cash only.
