The owner guy is a little wacky. He was the only one working there so he was a little haggard between taking orders, making food and making coffees. The hot chocolate was excellent. Coffee was decent-ish. We went because it was the only open place around in the off/shoulder season.

Walked in place was empty except for one woman and one manager/ owner in a turban. Stood at the counter waiting and waiting while the guy played on his phone to some ridiculous electric music. Finally he says, I'll be with you in a minute. Several minutes go by and again he ignores us. After five minutes he calls out to an employee in the back to wait on us. What a jerk! Coffee tasted as if it sat on the stove all day, burned. We had so much wait time looking around, the place is low rent! Weird posters on the wall etc. no wonder no one was in the place. My advice would be someone needs to tell the owner to get out of business and let someone else take a shot who cares. Don't waste your time a gas station has more charm and service!

Went for breakfast this morning, acknowledging they were understaffed but, the cafe feels neglected. Not dirty but not clean. Felt as if it was past its prime and a bit in disarray. Food wasn’t bad but was happy to get it and go. Experienced a tense and unhappy owner. Too bad. It has potential. From previous pictures, appears to be on a downward slide.

The local vibe was exactly what we were looking for when passing through on the way to Acadia. With so many simple drip coffee options around, this was the only shop that had some espresso options. My specialty mocha cappuccino hit the spot on a cold day!
