This was our 2nd time eating here. I liked the food better this time but after our server brought our food, he did not check back with us. We decided to order another set of spring rolls and I had to send my niece over to him to ask him to place the order. We both had pho, mine had quail eggs, shrimp and meat. The broth in it was delicious. The spring rolls were good as well. My niece loves pho so we like having that option when we visit Garden City. *** I had pictures of the filth and they keep deleting them. I'm not a person that is overly worried about cleanliness. I normally would say they're busy or they will get to it soon but this was beyond that. *** My first review was this: I enjoy the food and the sense of a "neighborhood café" that you get when entering. **** Edit to say that a month ago I came in and the cleanliness has definitely went down hill it's absolutely grimmy! That time my sandals wanted to stay on the floor, the ceiling tiles are so dirty around the vents that they are black there. The waiter is on his phone so much that he doesn't see to your needs. I don't think the ceiling fans have ever been wiped off. Maybe I was having a bad day and they were too, I may give them one more chance... *** So I gave it a month and decided to try once again... only because the other Vietnamese restaurant in town was Closed by the time my appointment was over.... soo the ceiling, fans, walls still filthy. The floor was actually not sticky. I ordered the spring rolls and #13 meal. To be honest Sam's has better spring rolls than this time, normally i love them here, and my shrimp on my meal was one lone prawn, the egg rolls that were in the meal, were extremelygreasy. The rest of the food in the bowl was good. Those two dishes and a water cost me 19 dollars. ** I truly am surprised that the health people let this place be.
