Fantastic restaurant. I was late for dinner, came just a few minutes before closure. The host was very polite and offered full menu without any restrictions. I ordered chai, paneer butter masala, chana, tandoori roti, and laccha parantha with a side of rice. Pretty much everything tastes good. Chana and chai were the best. I recently ate at Saffron, and really enjoyed the food. They have excellent north Indian food. Everything was delicious, especially the tandoori starters and the butter chicken. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very nice Indian from the person who brought us Rasa, a Michelin-star Indian restaurant in Burlingame. Saffron is a more casual affair, but it's certain to satisfy you if you're looking for quality Indian cuisine. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Food was not that tasty, but ambiance is too gud
Good food, but a little pricy. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
The food was mediocre and service was quite problematic. I attempted to order an Italian sparkling wine, but the waiter insisted it was too sweet for my taste. Despite reassuring him of my preference, he continued to push for an alternative from the menu. Not wanting to cause any offense, I reluctantly agreed. The recommended sparkling wine turned out pretty flat. It became apparent that I had been coerced into selecting it, likely because the bottle had already been opened. Be prepared to deal with such manipulative tactics if you go. I won’t be returning. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 1

I am surprised and deceived by a high rating of this restaurant here which made me go there in the first place. The food is bland and no dish right from the masala tea to the chicken is exceptional. The food is bland and if you have lived in India, you won't enjoy it. Very pricey. I don't recommend it. There are many better, affordable Indian places sin the bay area which are far superior.
