Food is really good. We liked Bombay sliders, dosa, and desserts a lot. Other appetizers were also good. I got jalfrezi kofta and it was good. My friends loved their butter chicken. Edited: Went back again and the food was again very good. Very nice Indian food with elegant flavors. Mangalore fried chicken was on point. Fish Moilee with coconut rice was fantastic. Kofta with Naan was also good. Very tasty Indian food with plenty of creativity. All the appetizers and main courses were delicious. I ordered a drink that the waitress recommended but found it a bit too smoky and spicy for my taste. Definitely coming back for the food when in the area. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Vada Pav
Best kulfi (Indian ice cream) ever within or outside of India. Food quality is close to delicious home cooked food with authentic taste which is rare to get in US. Everything including naan and lachha parantha were cooked to perfection. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Bombay Sliders
Ordered for only one person, so I got the Masala Omelette and Garlic Naan. Food is presented well. The omelette is cooked well and has good flavor. I like that the complimentary side bread is baked with butter. The garlic naan is tasty, though it’s a bit different than the typical garlic naan I eat at other Indian restaurants. Then again, I’m not an expert on Indian cuisine. The staff was polite and kind. We came when the restaurant was packed inside, so we sat outside, and they have heaters on already. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Garlic Naan
Every dish is so delicious. Perfectly spiced food. Non veg and veg are equally flavorful. Good that food is not Americanized like most fine dinings. Best Indian restaurant in Bay area. Last night, my friends and I celebrated a birthday at Saffron in Burlingame. We had a reservation for four through the Resy app, and upon arrival, we were promptly seated by the friendly host. Our table was situated right under a beautiful chandelier, and the service was both amiable and efficient. After being offered water and drinks, the staff was very helpful in guiding us through the menu and making recommendations. The food we ordered was delicious, and we may have gone overboard due to our excitement. To top it off, they surprised the birthday girl with a special dessert. Overall, we had a fantastic time and look forward to our next visit. Food: 5/5 Just outstanding. It’s clear that they have gone to the depths of indian cuisine. Vada pav was phenomenal. Amazing balance of different textures and overall flavours. Spicy flavorful masala with crisp and soft bun! Corn soup was again outstanding. Thick creamy texture and awesome flavor profile. The Saag was mindblowing. Again - great textures and well rounded flavors. Even the rice with hints of coconut and tempered daal and the lachcha parantha felt carefully crafted. The whiskey sour also was great. A tad bit strong but still good to have again. Service: 5/5 Such professional and helpful servers. Our little one was being cranky so they were very accomodating. Ambiance: 5/5 Awesome fine dining experience. Very well done interiors. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

An interesting twist: Indian Street food, cooked upscale! Sure $19 for a dosa, but you are going to love the impeccable cooking, and the ghost chili chutney! The sambar was authentic. For appetizers, try the Bombay peppers, very well made. The prawns are perfect for the person who loves seafood. For dessert we ordered the cardamom bread pudding, but after trying it we wished we ordered the rose Panna cotta. Good service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wow! Food is delicious and presentation is great! We have four people, ordered four small dishes to share and two main courses: butter chicken, curry fish. Coconut rice and garlic bread. Everything is so good. My favorite is their appetizers and drink. Don’t miss it.
