We really enjoyed the food here. Bread was beautiful and special. Loved the pate that it came with. The duck and rice tasted flavorful, my favourite was the pork which the waiter said was his favourite! The staff were amazing, polite and attentive, very professional. I can’t quite understand some of the earlier unhappy comments by customers, but we were glad to have walked into this classy restaurant on our very first night in Lisbon and have the wonderful dishes, so delicious and well prepared! Thanks for a wonderful dinner Sacramento and staff! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Delicious! I had the seafood rice which had the largest prawn I had ever seen in it(or some kind of prawn-like sea creature). The fried goat cheese appetizer was divine. I am not a cake eater but my friend seemed to love the pistachio olive oil cake. I did enjoy the scoop of ice cream that came with it. Hostess was very nice. Did seem like there were a lot of tourists there (we could hear a lot of English) but the food was still great Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €45–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Goat Cheese

All around exceptional dining experience in the heart of Lisbon. My hotel recommended this spot for dinner and I can see why. The service was impeccable, seated fast, and food came out very quick. The baked chicken with risotto was the perfect dish. Chicken cooked perfect and nice big portion. Pistachio cake for dessert was light and not overly sweet. On top of this the ambiance is gorgeous. Keep in mind this is more like fine dining so it’s a little pricier than most places in Lisbon - well worth it though! We didn’t have any dinner reservations around 8pm on a Saturday evening. We walked in and went to the bar to get a drink to wait for a table. I had a sacramento sour which had a really delicious foam on top and a great citrus flavor. I ordered a second with the meal. After 30 minutes at the bar we were seated at a table. The atmosphere was nice but the decor was a bit too red and lighting too dark, but that’s beside the point. We had codfish ceviche for an appetizer and then grilled octopus and duck rice for entrees. Flavors and textures were great, and portions were more than enough. Would recommend friends to get dinner here when they visit Lisbon. Beautiful restaurant recommended by my hotel (Marriot Lisbon). The food service was fast, very fast. I barely had time to get a game of solitaire in before the appetizers arrived. The goat cheese was okay, but I wish it was served with toastadas or bread. Then we had the chicken and steak. Both were pretty good. Well, let me give you the lowdown on our experience at Sacramento, recommended by the hotel front desk. Our expectations were high, I mean, it's our first night out in Lisbon and we're on the hunt for authentic Portuguese cuisine. Sacramento restaurant, let's talk. They delivered on the authenticity front, but when it comes to the flavor, it left me scratching my head. It's like the food was playing hide and seek with my taste buds – I just couldn't quite put my finger on what was missing. Good? Sure. Mind-blowing? Not even close. We decided to dive into the seafood rice, which the staff had been raving about. I've got to hand it to them, the seafood was cooked to perfection. But here's the kicker – the rice, while cooked nicely, lacked any oomph. It was like eating a soupy-rice concoction with an overdose of sauce or broth. I mean, come on, where's the personality in that dish? Moving on to the starters, I gave the mushroom and Portuguese ham entree a go. I've got to hand it to them, this one was a winner. Loads of delicious garlic punching through, and the ham brought a much-needed saltiness to the table. No complaints there, I'll give credit where it's due. Now, let's talk cod-fish. It strutted in with those beautifully reduced onions and eggplants – or was it zucchini? Anyway, the fish, I can't deny, was cooked with finesse. Carefully laid on a bed of olive oil-soaked potatoes, it was hearty, it was filling. But, here's the kicker again – where's the excitement? It needed a little kick in the taste department, so I took matters into my own hands and added some Tabasco sauce and pepper to wake it up. In the grand scheme of things, this joint offered a decent meal. We managed to find solace in some lovely whites by the glass – props for that wine selection, I must say. They did cozy up to the food offering rather well. So, there you have it, a culinary adventure that didn't exactly explode with flavors but did manage to tick a few boxes. Will I rush back? Not likely. Will I remember it? Yeah, for all the wrong reasons. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
WOW, honestly such a wonderful place. Amazing food, amazing champagne, amazing service. The restaurant was so beautiful and it smelled like freshly baked bread. I will be coming back here the next time I'm in Lisbon. Also don't skip the dessert! So many beautiful flavor options of gelatos and sorbets! Visited with my friend during our trip to Lisbon. Service was great, friendly and attentive waiter. Reasonable wait time for food and drink. Food was tasty, I didn't expect my dish (octopus and shrimp rice) to be soupy - I thought it'd be closer to fried rice. However it was pleasant enough! My friend liked the duck and the cocktails were great! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €30–35 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This is one of those places where they sell a lot of hype and they are not able to keep up with it. There are wonderful places to dine at in Lisbon, this is not it! Food is not bad, but definitely not good either. The worst part is the service, and it’s not a cultural thing, because everywhere else the service has been on point. The staff here is neither friendly nor welcoming. The act like they are too good for you. The hosts have a long way to learn yet about restaurant service, the servers dont know how to guide you through their menu, etc. We were told it we would have a 20 min wait but it was 1 hr instead and they never apologized once.
