Everything is good here except the price that a little bit high. But considering their service, the atmosphere, location and food, it makes sense for the prices.
They'll give you try the cake before buying it, so make sure you buy the one you like most.
The parking space is also available in front of the store.

went in on a Friday (late afternoon) and there was no queue! they serve you free samples of their products along with tea (or coffee). you're also allowed to request for specific products you're interested to try! if you're unable to finish- you're also allowed to take away the leftover samples. my personal favorite is the honey sun cake!!

Their customer service is really good. Regardless u are buying their item or not, the moment you enter, they will serve u different sample of their biscuit plus Chinese tea too. Honestly, it is because they are confident that their biscuit is so good that you will sure buy some after sampling it. Worth to go there and sampling their biscuit. Sure you will like it. No wonder is rated top Sun biscuit online.

The champion for sun’s cake. It taste so awesome.
There is free tasting available to let you try different pastry. Tea or coffee is served as well. There is no obligation to buy anything. But my the pastry is so good.
I tried all kind of pastry but the best is their sun’s cake which is so soft that it melts in your mouth! You got to try to believe. They are the champion for a reason.

Received as a gift and was yummy. Popped into the airfryer for 3-5 minutes before consuming! The crust is more on the milky side, filling was sweet and sticky. Great as gift.

This place is suitable if you are looking for Taiwan pastry for souvenirs
You can sample anything before deciding. Comfortably seated, the workers will serve you dishes after dishes to taste with explanation

A place where you can find one of the best suncakes in Taichung. Free tasting and drinks. The free tasting session also allows you to buy only the ones that you're interested in. No hardselling, no pressure. Just buy what you like. Highly recommended to head over here to grab a taste.

Great! Ordered online to Singapore. Their product was first sent out on 30 August (Monday), was on the plane on 31 August (Tuesday) and reached me today (1 Sep).
They were mostly (95%) in pristine condition except the almond which was cracked (some pieces only) but doesn’t bother me as it’s going into my stomach anyway.
Products were very fresh! The taiyangbing I ordered and the red bean cake all expire on 4 October while the almonds expire on 25 September.
All their products aren’t too sweet either (only their original taiyangbing tasted sweet to me but even then it tasted like a 25% bubble tea. I like their tieguanying sun cake, they don’t skim on the tea powder so it has a very intense and earthy taste! Not sweet at all either, good for those who are more health conscious. Their almond crisps aren’t sweet either. Usually, almond crisps will be coated with sugar but this isn’t! Very good.
I foresee myself ordering from Ruyi again!

Random saw this place on the map as it was near our hotel. The next day our driver said it was a famous place for sun biscult! They offer samples for u to sit down and try with chinese tea. Which was great but at the same time its like very pressure u have to buy something since they served you this well.
But the sun biscult was really good. I love love love the rose one! Thinking about it right now too! It was my fave of all! Others were also very good as well. They only sell in box not 1 pc. Price consider quite exp but i wont mind paying as it was delicious.
