We visited this nice little restaurant the other day. It was nice. The fish & fries were pretty good. I just wouldn't have minded having a bit more. I was a bit envious of my husband's chef salad. It looked absolutely delicious. (I later returned and ordered a grilled chicken salad for my supper, which was okay, but I'll still be back for that chef's salad) The young lady waiting on folks does pretty good, with all that she has to do working by herself. *Okay, since this first review, we have been back numerously since just moving to the area. The waitress we had this evening was superb! Her name is Sami. Awesome gal. The food we ordered was delicious. 😋 For me: A chef's salad, & for my husband: he ordered a BLT with fries. Compliments to the cook! (Pictured) I later ordered a chocolate chip 🍪 cookie (heated) with ice cream on it. Delicious as well! Nice place to eat. Had a bacon burger and chef salad. They're were delicious. I spend around $25 dlls. The place is very clean. Just recommend it to have some help for the waiter. She was the only one taking orders, and she was taking a little bit to get to each table. Just to order, my drink took like 15 min. I'm glad I looked at the menu on people reviews, and I was ready to order by the time she asked me what I wanted it to drink. Also posted some pics from the recent menu and actual prices. Much better than it used to be to be. Service was quick. Food didn’t take forever to come out. It was speedy too. The food was very good also. Overall a very pleasant experience now. For a small town diner, food was really good. Chicken fried steak was hand made and very good. Everything came out the way we ordered. There was continuously someone waiting for a to go order so obviously people know it's good. It's not fast food. There was a litte wait for the food to come out. Staff was nice. Prices were fair.

Absolutely love this place! Will keep coming back. Food is great and the staff are wonderful. Cozy feel of a small diner with the convenience of the attached gas station for quick pick ups and fuel. Very comfortable with a no stress atmosphere. Loved it immensely. Adding photos of the inside and our food. The brownie was hugh. From Wisconsin here, Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich is very good and large enough to split between 2 people. Service was great. A little understaffed maybe but isn’t every restaurant? My husband and I had the opportunity to try their sandwiches club and a chicken fried steak sandwich. They were very good tasted great. The two young adults that serve me today did a great and awesome job thank you all for being so nice and friendly. Great to see that kind of service haven't seen it in a while. Stopped in this restaurant while traveling….. the food was great however, there was a Young Waiter that was in a foul mood. He was taking it out on the elder waitress. And letting anyone know that he was having a bad day! I understand a bad day however it was in very poor taste to be openly disrespectful like that! When he was taking my order he was verbally expressing his bad day. It made me feel very uncomfortable! The tension was very deep in there! My family stopped here after traveling all day on a Sunday evening. We were told to seat ourselves wherever we’d like. We were greeted by our waitress who took our drink orders ( coke and lemonade).When she returned, she took all the time we needed to discuss questions about the menu. She recommended the country fried steak and catfish. We ordered the GRILLED (medium)Ribeye and Catfish meals. Our food comas out in less than 20 minutes ( the restaurant was 3/4 full). THE FOOD WAS SEASONED AND COOKED TO PERFECTION! Hubby’s steak came with mushrooms, green peppers and onions. My catfish was seasoned and not crisp. Everything, the sides ( Mac and cheese, corn, green beans, seasoned fries) were all delicious. It tasted like a 5 star chef was in the kitchen. Our server kept our drinks filled and checked on us regularly. Our entire meal was less than 45 dollars. We will definitely be back if ever in the area again on a Sunday evening! Excellent 24 hour restaurant stop at. Service was wonderful our waitress was super high school student, very polite very pretty. Struck up a conversation with her really nice young lady. Food was excellent wide variety of things, plus I have a believe it was 2 lb hamburger that if you eat it the trimmings and everything it's free and not very many people have finished it from what I saw. I will definitely stop again next time I'm in Haskell Texas.
