Locals at this bar were hostile, I tried to be friendly but all they wanted was to fight and the bar tender was on their side the whole time and kicked us out and let them stay it was absolutely uncalled for.

Great atmosphere. It's a smoky bar so if you're not into that stay away. Interesting mounts representative of the local wildlife but they're a little old. Bartenders are great. Cold be considered a dive bar.
Local dive with lots of local kills on the walls. Pool table area looked like no one had played for a while, but we dusted it off and had a nice game. Didn't stay long because it was very smoky. Service was friendly.
If you are a smoker you will love it, if not be prepared to inhale a lot of cigarette smoke. The bar tender seemed irritated when we walked in and used a credit card. Looks great inside but very disappointing after reading CJ Box books.
Good service and good people to chat with. It is a smoking bar. We got white Russians but the only creamer they had was caramel flavored, so it was a bit sweet.
Wouldn’t recommend visiting if from out of town. Visited with a group of 8 other snowmobilers, spent a couple hours there drinking and tipping the bartender well only to be chased out by the locals. The night ended with an all out brawl in the street!
Love this bar ❤️. Had great conversations with down to earth locals. The Mountain Lion 🦁 Mounts are museum quality.

This is an interesting place. There are mountain lions mounted behind the bar which looks like a museum piece. This alone is worth a stop and Gander even if you're not having a beer. There's also live music on Fridays and a nice relaxing atmosphere.
A decent place to get some cheap beers and hang out. They will have some live music from time to time. Nothing really to eat here as far as kitchen-prepped food, but they do have snack bags. It look living here for several years and a change in bartenders to finally feel welcome here. It is a good place for tourists who enjoy the mounted animals and sweet mountain lion scene right above the bar. However, this is definitely a place of locals. The biggest drawback for me is that I do not smoke, and this place does allow smoking in the bar. I think it is great that there is a place in town that the smokers have to be able to smoke inside without needing to leave the building. This is just a personal thing for me. Overall, a decent place and a bar that I take friends and family who come to visit me.
Bartender ripped us off. Charged me $7 for a 12 oz draft beer. When I questioned her about it she came back with 3 different prices. Was a domestic beer too. Don't waste your money in this place, we won't ever again. Edit: Wasn't the actual bartender, just some drunk she left behind the bar because she had to leave for a while.
